For the most part I would have to agree, I would personally say just make everything ranked and leave un-ranked for the admins that choose to run mods..etc.

Basically COD4....

Actually my hosting provider was able to get DLC working on dedicated servers. At the moment we are the only ones running DLC maps!

So I noticed after my dedicated server updated the DLC was not included in the update files..

Does this mean that dedicated servers cannot run the DLC? Please tell me this is just a big ass joke SledgeHammer Games....

Anyone else seeing the same?

You wouldn't happen to be running Nukems MW3 addon? If so remove it as it has not been updated.

Also thanks, I know sometimes they have two names for one map which is confusing.

Try verifying the integrity of cache files via Steam. It might help. Along with that reboot Steam entirely.

If that doesn't help the MW3 devs have broken something, yet again..

Would anyone happen to know the new dev names for the DLC maps? I would like to run these on my server but COD and there lack of documentation isn't helping.

$100 bucks says they still haven't done anything about the rejoining. What if there is only one zombie and he leaves? Well you sit there until game is over or just leave your self...

Rcon is broken and servers crash..come on IW seriously? How do you eff a game that bad? Does noone test anything?

Yea everyone was using Akimbos and they didn't looked patched at all.

Since the latest MW3 update it seems that dedicated got broke..

I can log in to rcon but server will not respond to commands and the server likes to crash a lot on map changes.

Anyone else seeing this?

Not going to lie..limiting your upload is pretty bad, why not just close the ports for MW3 and keep a strict nat?

I would definitely stick with ASUS, they are a good company and "usually" have some good products. However I would personally stick with anywhere from 5ms response times as in all complete honesty, it is just a selling point. But hey if you got the money....why not.

I tried setting them to a 1000 each and it helped but did not do a permanet fix, I will most likely just end up setting certain guns to certain maps.

I have searched hi and low for this answer but since MW3 is sooooo poorly documented it makes it impossible.

Anyways I run a decently popular infected server and have about 9 DSR set up for it, currently I have it set up to rotate to a random map and pick a random DSR, at least I thought. The random map works fine..mostly but I sometimes find my self playing knives only,LMG,snipers...repeat.

I really do not know why this is happening but it is really annoying.

I have it set up like this

*,infected1,1

I know that the weight determines how likely that DSR is to get picked and I figured if they were all at one it would be random or go in a set order from beginnging to last. I am stuck and curous if anyone has run in to this at all or has a fix?
