yup.. you are right.. why should people who live in areas that can't get super high speed internet even be allowed to play the game??? My question is why should they have to suffer because you talked your parents into purchasing overly expensive broadband?

Lag comp is the future of CoD. Just do as I do and just stop expecting quality from a CoD title. You will be less disapointed in future CoD dams that way.

Usualluy I can eventually get decent games in MW3. Last night couldn't get one for an hour. Switched to Black Ops, and it was fine. Do not understand.

I switched my router to one that is on the approved for xbl list. I've not had issues since I did that.

Maybe Blk ops II will have really good connection and lag won't be nearly as this bad mw.3 beast. Then we won't have to play MW3 ever again sigh of relief..!!!

Maybe they can use all that Elite money to put in those dedicated servers lol. My game is sucking the fart out of my ass right now and i have to admit, its quite painful.

Yeh i totally agree Call of Duty mw3 is by FAR LAGGY out of all them its shocking 4 bars and u get shot whiile wayy round corners they spunge but when u watch killcams its like ur 2-3 seconds behind i think they shud have dedicated servers i doubt money is the issue i new map pack bring out millions we pay 40 quid a year for a game most of us have left its stupid iv moved back to blackops and the difference is unreal

total letdown of a game if u ask me

@ghorman, you know you a proably right. I have often wondered if it maybe because the consoles just can't handle the processing. They keep add new features which will take more processing power. IDK just rambling off ideas

Right, I was referring to lag like MW3 lag is all. If MW3 just had the normal, run-of-the-mill online multiplayer lag, I'd be playing it. Every time I engage in a gunfight I'm dead before I can even get my gun up, it's just pointless.

I got rid of my copy despite being a premium Elite member and went back to Black Ops. Needless to say I am actually having fun again. There is some lag in matches for me but not like MW3. I get one laggy match to about 10 on BO but with MW3 it's the other way around 10 laggy matches to every good one. Until I see a lot of people on here saying it's better I wont be back. I check the forums every once in awhile just to see and obviously no luck yet. I really like the gameplay on MW3 and miss it but it becomes more of a frustration than it's worth. Please IW do something about this so we can get back to having fun on this game!

hah thats what you get for giving these scum extra money for elite - They suckered us all by not warning about the lag comp when we bought the game - but by buying an extras such as dlc or elite is solely on you dude... Boycott these scum bags for selling a defective product with no warning or disclamer of the handicap they implement on any potential competitive gamer.

I read it. But we are talking about lag and ideas that could help. No reason to start a new thread since this topic covers that. If you don't agree with my opinion that is fine, but just don't throw statements out there like they are facts. We have not seen any reports from Activision or IW on any testing on dedicate servers so no one outside of them has any clue on what it would take to setup dedicate servers.

I for one would like to see their test plans and results from it.

Meh, I get the lag comp so bad, I have given up. When its really bad, I just run around at people. I don't shoot or anything. I die like 30 times. A few other guys are doing it now to. The reason, piss off the rest of our team. Piss off enough players that aren't experiencing it, until the complaining gets SO BAD, they have to take real action.

I paid my money for the game, and elite, I deserve as much as a chance to play as everyone else. Yet, I gimped for having a good internet connection, or their bad coding. I don't know, or care. Its not my problem.

LOL, but you are wrong again. Because IMO dedicate servers would help with the lag and off load some of the work the xbox is having problems with, be it the Elite updates, match making or whatever. The 7 year old equipment needs help; it can't even push the current engine to its limits or even run in true HD because it is out of resources. Pile that on top of running a client and host code at the same time, you do the math.
