Knives - Do You Carry one?

Most days when Im out and about, doing the **** I do I carry a knife. For protection uses only, has saved my life a couple of times, and Im just wondering does anyone on this site carry one? What are your views?

All that "If you carry a knife you more likely to get stabbed yourself" COMPLETE BULLSHIT.
Thats just propoganda to make you not carry one.

But in my view I value my life so I will protect it at all costs.

I DID, but after a little "legal discussion" in an alley with some of my homes finest law enforcers, I no longer carry a weapon.

Just wondering since i have never carried a weapon on my body in public how do you conceal it on your body and is it an offence to be caught with one

I always carry a knife (Kershaw w/ Open assist), but the main purpose is not for self defense. I carry it for if I need to open a package, cut a hose for my car or some one elses car (I do side automotive work), cut a piece of rope, gut a fish (Fishing is big where I live), and so on. Basically a knife is really just a tool for me since it carries out many other uses than just a weapon.

What a small one or my 7 inch?

Small one = pocket and no they can't charge you if it is a pocket knife

7 inch = leg holder and yes they can charge you (It is a very deadly)
