Band Of Brothers
Best WW2 series ever made. It'll be near impossible to top this.
Couldn't agree more. "Band of Brothers" is the best series ever made especially with the real comments from the men of Easy Company who where there. Fantastic.
"Saving Private Ryan" has to have a mention and "Behind Enemy Lines" is good too.
Try "The Alamo" with Jason Patric, Patrick Wilson, Dennis Quaid and Billy Bob Thornton because that has some amazing scenes and is based on the true story of The Alamo, Texas.
There is one film that I bet not many of you have seen and no ones mentioned it yet. It's called "An Ungentlemanly Act" and stars Ian Richardson, Bob Peck and Rosemary Leach. This film is all about the start of the Falkland Islands battle with the Argentine invasion force. There are some great night shooting scenes and this British drama was actually shot on the Falkland Islands. Love this film to bits.
