Do you find it less expensive to build your own verses buying from the biggies (hp, dell, ect...)?
Depending on what you want the machine to do, it can be a lot more expensive. I don't build gaming machines, but the one that I am building is going to run all of my movies/music/photos and all of the basic stuff that you need a computer to do. I am also going to build it to run all of my web design software and applications.
I prefer to build them myself because I can get what I want and not have to pay for crap that I don't need.- Report Abuse

Currently Being ModeratedRe: I want to be GRaSyou're absolutely right when it comes to all the extra "stuff" you get that you don't need. i would build one if I knew it would work.

Currently Being ModeratedRe: I want to be GRaSPI you gonna try out Windows 7? I will probably want to build a new machine by the time the 1st SP comes out for that. Both my current 2 builds the Processor is already so obsolete that you can not even purchase it any where except Ebay. And they are only 1 and 2 years old!

I read that W7 is going to use a whole lot less system memory then Vista does. If this is the case then I will consider tessting it on my machine to see how efficient it is.- Report Abuse

Oh yeah, how do I renew my GRaS certification? Or is there just a fee? It's been a couple months
Application fee, account setup fee, account maintenance fee, back dues, interest, service charges (ninjas aren't free), cleaning deposit, financing charge, over-the-limit fee, late fee, alternative fuels development fee, hazardous disposal fee, tax...
Don't listen to him USMC (Nice to see you BTW)... I just flashed my boobs and they let me back in.
actually, I just bought some falsies from the local drag queen shop and posted a pic... with Snake's eyesight fading, it wasn't hard to fool him
Good to see you as well, what was your PSN ID so I that I can add you to my elite list of friends on my (game lacking) PS3. Just starting playing COD on XBOX again, had to take a break with the birth of our baby girl.- Report Abuse

Next thing you know you'll be using him for bait in a CoD game.
Since so many of you are IT or very skilled with computers... where is a good place to find information on which processes are needed and which are unnecessary. I ask because I have a machine that really needs a good cleaning and they don't teach us these things in the Sith Academy- Report Abuse
