Why won't they even comment? They have NOT even acknowledged this as a problem. WTF. They make a solid game that has withstood hacks for the most part. Then, leaderboards are hacked one day and that's it. Just give up? Umm.. NO!
Treyarch also fails at updating the stats on this site, but maybe that's another topic.
I know Treyarch's top priority is to promote Black Ops to no end but when I see their head honchos post on twitter about cool new trailers and they can't even give me the time of day to discuss their CURRENT game w/ them.
Now, I have been very vocal about this issue for a LONG time. I am speaking for all those people who have worked their tails off getting a nice, respectable spot on the leaderbards in w/e the gametype may be only to go down thousands of spots in a matter of minutes because of these glitchers. I have gotten many messages on XBL and PM's who agree 150% w/me, but alas, that doesn't get it cleared up.
I am also speaking for all those people who hack accidentally been glitched to 10th Prestige against their will and are cheated out of the joy of ranking up on their own. That just is NOT fair to them.
This CAN be fixed. Treyarch may see this as more trouble fixing it than it's worth. Can we just get some good responses here so that they can see many people still play WaW all the time and desperately want leaderboards that actually amount to something? Please guys.
I have been talking w/ various mods the past few days on here and they have mainly supported me and have encouraged me to start this thread. They cannot get this fixed. I cannot get this fixed. Maybe if we get a lot of guys here to show them that its a REAL problem, we can get somewhere.

Gosh, this is really runing the game for me fellas. Not gonna lie. I STILL only play WaW. I almost play Free-for-all exclusively (friends moved to MW2 and some quit shooters in general). Well, for OVER a year, getting as high as I can on the Waw FFA WIN leaderboard. I got in the top 150 (I thought it was neat)right before hackers got ahold of WaW. < This thoroughly pissed me off as I sent nasty voice messages to tons of the glitchers. I can only imagine how mad everyone else must be that was in the top 10 on any leaderboard.

I can't be quiet about all this and YOU shouldn't either. I have contacted JD 2020. He doesnt seems to care. I have been telling everyone that I know to NOT get Black Ops. (Most of them aren't forum goers). This is all I know to do anymore.
Wy should a bunch of kids be able to exploit the system and get away with it. They will do the same thing for Back Ops. Treyarch can't stop them. BUT they can at least fix the **** issue once it happens.
I went 30-0 twice in a row in my final 2 games last night. That felt awesome, but ALAS, it still doesn't help me catch up to kids w/ 547547549548954785 kills.
Thinking I may juts stop WaW and have those matches be my final memory of WaW.
I was pushing a 5.0 K/D in WaW but all motivation seems to be lsot and seems that way for most of the other people I have talked to.
Let me leave you w/ 1 thought:
If Treyarch won't fix leaderboards in WaW, they WON'T fix them in Black Ops. Not hard to put 1 and 1 together.
Treyarch CAN fix the leaderboards. Not hard to wipe the top slate of obvious cheaters. However, Treyarch WON'T FIX the leaderboards.
So at the very least guys, just sign the thread or write w/e you'd like to get WaW leaderboards back to where they should be. Do not let WaW die. Thanks.
Also, I am going to add something for all you future Black Ops owners. It is clear to see that Black Ops will suffer from hacking and glitching on the leaderboards just as every game before it. (CoD4, WaW, MW2). You now know that Treyarch sees this as not an issue and if they ignore them in WaW, they will do the same for Black Ops. Just know that ahead of time. This single handedly keeping me from buying it. Many do not care about leaderboards. Thats fine, but tons of people like myself enjoy competing w/ friends to see who can get the most kills or w/e.
I can just see in a yr or 2, Treyarch working on the new CoD while Black Ops will be in the current state of WaW ( a solid game w/ still many players but screwed up leaderboards). They will NOT address the issue. How do I know this? Look at WaW. It isn't hard to put 2 and 2 together.
