I am 99% sure that everyone will be a guy. I know how it is and everything and I wish they would include female characters for females who do play. I am a guy by the way but it still does suck for the women out there.

I firmly believe that women have no place on the battlefield.  Parris Island found that 47% of women soldiers couldn't throw a hand grenade far enough to not injure themselves or the team.

I'm not being sexist.  I'm just pointing out that contrary to what some women believe, there IS a difference between men and women's capabilities.

That being said, although I'm all for realism, it's just a game.

And research has also proven that women may make better soldiers in that we have more patience and were less likely to be trigger happy in combat.

    Just sayin'...

And on topic:  I'm tired of games not giving the option for female avatars.  I try my best to pick avatars that are as close to female as possible, but it's not always easy.  I'm a woman IRL, I want to play a female character.  Bleh!

The only thing I could see that would make women better soldiers is their natural born insane reaction times.  But I have a personal problem with seeing beautiful women get slaughtered on the battlefield

But it has to be that taking the time and disk space to create a female character just didn't have its benefits.  I mean there just aren't that many female gamers that care.  Not to mention that every time a game has female characters some sick guys choose the girl character just to fill some sick fantasy.

As par current and recent past combat situations in the US, women are enlisted in support roles only; not on the front lines in combat situations, the exception being pilots. That's the way it should be, and will be for the far foreseeable future.

Want a female model? Stick to Halo or wait for Gears 3.

I dont think it really matters what the characters look like anyway. With the exception of third person game matches and enemy killcams, when do you even see yourself?

Maybe adding some pink gloves will make everyone happy?

There are no female characters. Why?
Because in cold war they weren't active in battle positions.

I don't see why there shouldn't be female character models available for multiplayer. Sure Halo Reach has it and soon Gears 3, but no one seems to remember Rainbow 6 Vegas 2- it had awesome charater customisation (including females) that could be carried across into any game mode, and that was over two and a half years ago.

The second women are allowed to participate in actual combat and Treyarch makes a game about that time period (no pun intended) then I would surmise that there will be females in CoD.

    Since that will never happen.

    No.

Like quickscoping and sprinting knifers happen in real combat.
