Thank you casuals for ruining a great franchise.

Like the title says, thank you for ruining the gaming franchise. Almost every game now caters to crap players.(Cod included)

    I agree. One of many things blackops did right was taking out deathstreaks.
    This happened to me in MW2 pre game lobby.
    Guy" I'm just gonna let the other team kill me so I get a good deathstreak and get my nuke."
    Seriously, wtf?
    I understand Blops wasn't perfect (What game is?) but it was nice that we didn't have to deal with some of these deathstreaks.

    Why do you think people still think that Cod 4 is still the best one? It's because it had QUALITY in mind and not QUANTITY. *sigh* I wish Respawn Entertainment makes another Cod 4.

    What this guy and valve don't realize is that the "hardcore gamer" fanbase is no where as big as the casual gamer fan base who just wants to have a bit of fun.

    If you make a game cater to the hardcore community it would turn off a large portion of the casual fanbase. At the end of the day these companies want to see their sales numbers go up. What better way to do it than by catering to the casual market?

    I do agree that certain things are a bit too much, like heartbeat and motion sensors, chopper gunners, gunships, ac130s, tactical nukes, attack dogs, black birds, certain perks and death streaks alter the flow of gameplay way too much but they're put there for a reason, they're appealing to all especially the casual market.

    There's a reason Nintendo always comes out on top of the console market lol

    ppl say that COD4 was the best cod but why do u think that is? Is it because it was actually the best in balance or just simply because it introduced the most amount of game changers before the game was simple. Do you remember all the bitching when COD4 was at its prime?
    Well let me remind u of some stuff just for funzies ok:
    1. M16 IS OP!!!
    2. M40A1 with ACOG IS OP!!!
    3. NOOB TUBING IS OP!!!
    4. 3xFRAGS IS OP!!!!
    5. Shotties are useless
    6. JUG IS OP!!!
    7. HELI CHAINING IS OP!!!
    8. SP is a must

    So you see it def was NOT perfect and did not cater to a "better player" it was a COD game nothing else. Stop putting COD4 on a pedestal cuz it isn't as QUALITY as you think...IMO

    Tell me where I said the game was perfect. I know it had problems, all games do. What I'm trying to say is that today you can just make a crap game and it'll sell millions just because casuals take every thing the developers give to them up the ass.

    I don't mind most killstreaks, except chopper gunner.(Probably the main reason I went to play blops on the wii.) I honestly go sick of it, especially on nuketown. If the MG would over heat, so we would have a better chance at shooting it down, I would be fine. And the Nuke in MW2 was a game ruiner for objective modes.  And deathstreaks...What shooter rewards you for dying? I'm not hardcore, I just think some of the things are stupid.
    I'm fine with killstreaks. I mean, hey you earned them. (Cept the nuke, and CG, but CG isn't too bad on larger maps.) I just think the deathstreaks are stupid, and now they are putting in a deathstreak with replaces your ammunition with hollow points for increased damage. I mean, come on, wtf?
