There was much discussion about this. Alot of groups said it would be illeagal for them to charge for a premium service and only make it available to some paying members first. If they did it xbox then PS3 I could see alot of class action lawsuits popping up.

Its cause xbox is such a shitty console n service they have to make their fans feel like their getting hooked up by giving them dlc's maps (on one of the biggest franchise games in history) a month early. Bt in acuallity thier paying $50 a year just to PLAY online n another $50 to get dlc maps a month early. I'll wait an extra month for my dlc n never pay a penny to play online.

I am a ps3 guy but in reality they aren't just paying for the elite prem they are paying to play online for micrsoft too, so they get it before us and than we get it next than its xbox non-members, than ps3 non-members, so yeah, i still think we pay the same as them we should get it the same day but oh well. we get it when we get it

the problem with what he had to say was he is saying the elite faq stated it beforehand, when the sentence that says something about xbox getting it first wasn't added until january 27th 2012.
