It may be speculated whether it is the same Captain Price who appears in both the WW2-era games and the Modern Warfare games, set roughly 70 years apart. Sami Onur of the model department of Infinity Ward offers a retcon explanation for this—the modern Price is the grandson of the original Price.[2]
