Re: PETITION TO REMOVE LAG COMPENSATION

I just looked at this thread for the very reason of saying that if they removed lag compensation the game wouldn't work.  Glad to see I'm not the only one who realises this.  Seems a lot of people are pretty stupid if they think it would.

the last patch 1.07 really fixed the lag compensation and I think it is a low better than it was before.

No it didn't. The dev who posts here says they tweaked it and reapplied a technique used in MW2 (something they had removed). It's better but still not good enough. It needs to be like it was in MW2.

I would say ignorant (not knowing the truth or effects)... not stupid (knowing the truth, but ignoring it).

ignorant: Running into a wall head first for the 1st time not knowing it will hurt (like not knowing what lag compensation is, or what it does)

stupid: Picking yourself up off the floor, and running into the wall again (like being able to research lag compensation, and still making a "remove lag compensation" thread)

Sheep: People who go with the flow obliviously (i.e. repeating something someone else said thinking it makes sense - like saying "lag compensation is bad")

Stupid Sheep: People who follow stupid people (like signing a "remove lag compensation" thread)

No insult to anyone, just saying...

Re: PETITION TO REMOVE LAG COMPENSATION

It did fix it, maybe not enough for you, but it was adjusted. previous to the patch I had freezing and stuttering a lot while playing and now it's virtually gone. I agree if they were to make it like MW2 it would be nice, however I think with theater in the game there is no way to get back to that level of reliability. I could be wrong about that though, just a guess.

Re: PETITION TO REMOVE LAG COMPENSATION

@rlbl Why keep trolling over and over again in this topic. We know your opinion now. We want lag compensation fixed because its crap for us. The game is still unplayable for me and that makes me mad because i payed 110 euro's for it. It doesnt matter if we know how lag compensation works. It don't work in this game. Thats the problem, not how it works.

Re: PETITION TO REMOVE LAG COMPENSATION

I can guarantee you that if they take it away altogether it WILL hinder you, alot, so much so that you will then have another pathetic petition to bring it back.

I miss the Blops forums, where petitions were against the posting rules and BANNABLE.

Re: PETITION TO REMOVE LAG COMPENSATION

You are asking for it to be removed by "signing" this petition, which would be worse than what you experience now. They are already working on tweaking the process in order to make the game work better for everyone.

Re: PETITION TO REMOVE LAG COMPENSATION

On the basis that over 11,000 people have read your post but only 171 of them have signed the petition is not going that well really.
