For whatever reason in mw3 only kills with your gun / equipment count towards the barracks highest killstreak. Seems a strange decision from IW considering mw2 included the killstreak kills for the highest streak.
Based on the Leaderboards in general on mw3, they are crippled, so its probably a mistake rather than a deliberate change.
It annoys me how everytime you prestige the Leaderboards say you have only played 1 game, and it works out that your average kills per game is your total kills divided by one!! Stupid. Can't believe they haven't fixed that yet.
