Dead Mans Hand - A different view

Last night I went around a friends house to give the new maps a whirl (he's xbox, im ps3). They are superb, best maps in the game by a mile!!!

 

Anyhow, upon picking up the pad, I noticed that all his classes had dead mans hand on.....disgusted by this (lol) I had to mention it to them....there were 4 of them. Why....they all said?.....well it's just not right came my reply.....to which one of my mates said "Well the guy that shot me ruined my fun, so i'm gonna ruin his!" Was pretty funny. "You wait until we get a buzzkill with it" he says

 

A few games later one of them got the buzz kill with it....they promptly all stood up and did a mexican wave! lmao

 

None of them are very good players, but nor do they care, they play simply to have a fun, which they have a lot of lol

 

But it has made me look at dead mans hand differently, now everytime I get killed by it i'm gonna laugh and imagine a group of 20-30 somethings doing a mexican wave at me

    Whenever I have been killed by it I have laughed as there is nothing else you can do.

    I lol at it these days.

    Deadman's hand and final stand are horrible when you are using pump/lever action shotguns. if your shotgun is close enough to kill the player, deadmans hand is close enough to kill you.

     

    I Swear everytime I got my specialist bonues last night it was deadmans hand that ended it, literally like as I got specialist bonus and they blew up! -_-.

     

    It almost killed me then I was in a windows a story above the guy that used it! -_-'

     

    I only use DMH on my dropzone class, its pretty effective ^_^

      deadman's hand makes me laugh cuase i always think its final stand..

       

      "oh you lil **** take that! KA BOOM!......oh.......you **** head LOL"

       

      FINAL stand on the other hand pisses me off, only cause i hate nailing them, and not them SOMEONE else klils me from their team....

       

      and i get 10 times more pissed when i don't see "Assist +25" that means the lil **** is still alive.............at least give me the 100+ for taking him down......or 75+ ...

       

      at least with deadman's hand your dead no matter what.........

       

      i think they should change it though............ like someone said the deadman's hand should be like the c4 suicide bombers from the spec ops...

       

      be awesome "death streak DEADMAN's HAND" you run,, you ethier die, and it beeps and blows OR

       

      you trigger it whenever you feel like..... so you rush (no radar i say) hit the trigger and hope to god you run into a guy or guys with it............. that be a little more fun heh

      Getting the All Perks bonus has saved my ass from Dead Man's Hand countless times.

    Whatever way you look at it, a deathstreak c4 should never be stronger than the default c4 =)

    Whenever I get killed by Dead mans hand (doesn't happen too often these days on ps3, I see way more last stand and martydrom) I think to myself: Well I was on a 10+ killstreak and he was on a 5+ deathstreak.. guess who's having more fun this game? One death for me and one kill for him doesn't change that... I'll just continue to r@pe him and his team, it will take another 5 deaths before he gets DMH again =) (I'm not saying I'm a great player that ***** teams all the time.. but it happens sometimes )

    Not even gonna lie i've been using final stand lol you go on a good streak and if you can surive to continue your road to a moab or whatever then by all means go for it lol.

    Good for them that they are having fun. My point to IW is that those ppl would by this game regardless and prob dont even know what perks/guns are in the game before it even comes out. I just dont get why the cater to much to the noobs (casual players)!

     

     

    I mean they gave enough stuff with respawn armor and support. I just cant believe the put in DMH. It baffles the mind that it went through all the priliminary stages without anyone saying "hey what you guys think about the blast radius?"

     

    Also I would have less of a problem if I killed kim before he triggered it, it wouldnt blow up.

    i have used the DMH b4 and now when ur down u cant blow up urself i hav tried it before when u get shot and die then it blows up i have tried blowin up my self by pushing r2 it doesnt work

    I run with dmh on but have never used it as its 6 deaths and I have not had a 6 death no kills death streak, thankfully!! Id love to see it in the kill cam, I put it on for drop zone but even it that game mode I havnt used it. Lucky I guess!!

    Dead Mans Hand is awesome. Makes for great snapshots.

    Piazza is cool, but Liberation sucks ba11s!!!

     

    If you're a run-and-gun player, Liberation is one of the worst maps. If you're a camper/sniper, then Liberation is one of the best maps.

      That would depend on how good a run n gun player you are

        Nah man, I mean a true run-and-gunner. Someone running back and forth underneath that castle-like structure doesn't count.

         

        Sandy Ravage would get owned on this map if there was some sniper on his belly just waiting for him to come out running and looking for him. Loooooooong lines of sight. No bueno.

         

        Only campers need apply to Liberation.

          I dissagree, I think it's a run n gunners dream (proper run n gunner) there are a ton of getaway routes from any snipers line of sight (and lets be honest, they usually miss the first shot)

           

          B and C dom are where the snipers will plot up, I don't think you will find them anywhere else

    dead mans hand is in the game and they arent taking it out so haters can piss off and stop b*tching. and no i dont use dead mans hand, i use final stand. and no i dont care if i use final stand, i will use whatever guns, perks and streaks that I want to use, not the loadout which best suits your run and gun SMG class and will get you your moab quickly.
