Definitely dissapointing, but then again I expected too much from Activision I think

How is it that Call of Duty: Elite can fund Activision so well, and the announced list of expansions can be so lackluster?

The $50 you invest annually will now purchase less maps than you picked up on any other Call of Duty before. Where you used to invest around $45 on expansions and pick up 12-15 multiplayer maps, with up to 5 "mission" maps, you won't catch such a deal now.

I really expected to see a full 20 multiplayer maps during the 9 month launch, considering their financial support, with the addition of special operations missions and otherwise. I am very surprised to not have seen a few new weapon skins, or something more original in that direction, to at least beef up the set list a bit.

I only play multiplayer so anything having to do with the campaign or missions is wasted on me.  I would be fine if they stripped out all the other stuff and focused all of their energy on a flawless multiplayer experience.

CoD4 had 4 MP maps for $10.

WaW had 3 DLCs, each with 3 MP maps and 1 zombie map.

MW2 had 2 DLCs costing $30 for 10 maps total.

Black Ops had 4 DLCs for $$60, totaling 12 MP maps, and 8 zombie maps.

MW3 is getting 12 MP maps, 2 game modes, and 6 spec ops missions for $40/50.

Side note, Black Ops had 14 standard multiplayer maps. MW3 has 16.

Here is a hint the dlc was not made just for you. There are many people that do like the SO missions and many that do like the new game modes even if you do not. They do not desiging the dlc just around MP just to make players like you happy.

No they do not need to add in more KS, there is allready more than enough in the game, nor do they need more gun cammos which do nothing for the game at all.

But here is the thing, the game is not made just for me either; but I am aware of this so some of what you asked for could ever be done in the next game during the dlc season; but not likely in this game this season.
