It takes a while for them to act on reports. From what I understand, theres a certain report threshold people have to meet before they even start looking at them. Then, once they decide to investigate someone, they look through all their games for hard evidence that they actually cheated.

On the second or third night the game was out, I ran into a couple of boosters. The guy doing the killing was on my team, and ended up with a MOAB. I reported him multiple times, then sent him a message saying "great job dude, YOURE A BEAST" so he'd accept my freind request so I can see if something was actually done. It took another two weeks or so, but eventually he was reset, and I unadded him afterwards so idk if he was console banned or not.

In my experience, the report system works, its just brutally slow. They'll make it around to your report eventually, just don't expect an immediate repsonse

If you catch anyone boosting go into theater mode and review the game. If it shows them actually boosting record the evidence and back out and render it. Upload it to Youtube and Elite if you have it, or even just place it in your vault with an appropriate title. Look up BanCandy on the forum and send him a pm with all of the information and videos if you have it, let's face it, a video meets the criteria for evidence of cheating. I did this this morning with three different infected boosters and by this evening they were reset and banned. I for one am glad that they finally have someone who's job it is just to deal with cheaters, at least someone who will actually respond to you. Swing that ban hammer, we don't take too kindly to such folk 'round here!

I have noticed a strange bug that showed up recently in MW3. I have noticed aimbotters (Real aimbotters, spinny head shot botters) getting away with obvious aimbotting they use to get kicked for instantly. Maybe boosters are using this as well.  I reported repeatedly. After giving up and leaving, I watched the aimbotters avatar and it would go straight from offline to "In a game".  I noticed there was no "In a lobby". To my knowledge you can't report during a game. I believe that some of these hackers have learned how to appear offline during the bannable time period between rounds.

And he normally bans them in 24-36 hours (its not actually a ban its a stat reset (everything including prestiege to 0) and i believe a 48 hour ban)
