I have just changed to a faster internet connection and previously I was unaware of these problems. I now want to throw this game out the window. MW2 was fine. I am so frustrated that they changed it into this. Lag compensation is a great idea however its implemented terribly. I really like MW3 and all the maps. I even like the Elite app. Host compensation ruins everything. I cannot believe they haven't sorted this yet.
Signed. It seems like this should be fixed by now. But in the last few days, the game has been uplayable to me. I have a great connection speed (11 ms ping) and I'm getting handicapped for it. Unloading full clips into someones chest without a single hitmarker, then getting killed by 1-2 bullets in the leg. Complete and total bullsh*t.
Kuhnie1 Hereby Signs this decree that the Lag Comp and Rewind Time is a sincere problem and deserves the remastering and attention of Infinity Ward and Activision.
I have played no less than 5 days a week since World at War. I have played no less than 6 days a week since BlOps came out. After the last few days, I am really considering putting this game away. It gets worse every time there is an update and this last one made this game just about unplayable. Even guys in my usual gaming group who were not complaining previously are now screaming and yelling at the tv every other game. There is no real hope at this point that this game is going to be fixed. I will not buy the next MW. I can't wait for Respawn to show these geeks how to properly make a game.
I just want to add to the gameplay lag compensation. It is horrible and I do NOT enjoy playing this game like I used to. I think it has become worse due to more people playing this game. Yesterday I was playing in a clan ops. I was on the map "Overwatch" their is a part of the map where it is closed in. People can drop down and kill you or drop a grenade or what ever. Most of the people who droppped down I killed. One guy dropped down and I loaded 20 rnds i him and he slashed me! WTF???? The my other problem is when I raise my rifle to shoot I miss, that's my fault. My aim is off sometimes. That has to do with the sensitivity settings. My quam about this game in the basic game play is you have to shoot them with 20 or more rnds to die VS Hard Core! WTf? Everyone who plays this game has a different internet speed and that is NOT MW3 fault! I don't know what they can do about it. Maybe they should pay for our internet service and buy us ALL Comcast high speed with fiber optic cables LOL. One of my BIGGEST problems has been when I shoot a grenade launcher or launcher at someone they don't die but I die! I hope they change the destructive enviroment in this game. I wish the software was like BF3! I wish we can drive tanks and choppers ext... I was so mad last night due to the missed shots ext... I think everyone here has the same problems and posted the same message. WE GET IT! Now MW3 JUST needs to GET IT!!!!!
Every time there is an update I never know what I'm going to get. It keeps alternating between works ok and absolute ****. The update previous to this last one made the game work better for me. It still had its moments but generally not too many completely wtf moments. Then this new update came out and it's back to being a **** sandwich.
