Maybe it would work beter if they also incorperated a feature to matchmaking where you can select if you want to join in progress matches or not.
And also the idea of a parties only playlist seems to be a more viable option, but will not reduce people leaving games.
Im trying to find a fair way to make it so people like me can still play but maybe i just need to suck it up or find another way to fill my spare time

Its annoying people do that. But if they listen to you then they have to listen to me with banning or putting punishments on people who hide in corners.

I always play alone so I don't waste time in pointless matches. If I'm put on the team getting destroyed I'll leave.
Im the exact same way man. After halo, i stopped caring about adding people as friends, so i just play alone all the time. Plus, when i quit, someone will replace my spot in about 30 seconds to a minute anyways. So people quitting cant be that big of a deal. Unless the whole team quits, obviously.

Team Deathmatch is best with a party of 6. In Black Ops i played by my self alot and it sucked always losing cause of randoms. But when i started to be in partys it started to become more fun playing Black Ops. You just need to find some good guys and play with them.

I see what your saying but look at it this way
If your against fully organised party then change your playstyle to ruin thier organisation
people get steamrolled so they learn to adapt
I guess i should take into account the fact that alot of new players are playing and i guess it wouldnt be alot of fun for them, i hadnt taken that into account due to pure frustration at not being able to get a game

I REALLY love that idea of choosing if you want to join in game progess. Idk if it would work out in the end but it makes it more fun as almost all the time I join games that are almost ending or in the middle of the game.

I wouldnt compare sitting in corners and leaving games personally but i see where your coming from
I also didnt think this might be counter productive as it may stop people quiting but those players will most likely go sit in corners..........

Yeah I have so much fun when I'm playing with friends. Too bad I don't have a mic so I can't tell them what to do and what not to do. You can communicate with everyone + you don't have some random 9 year old saying steady aim helps when sniping...

Winning games need to be factored into the leaderboards and make it highly weighted.

Oh im part of a clan with 81 members who play togeather alot i probably play 60 percent in parties and 40 percent solo
So thats not the problem although i do understand the difference i started MW3 playing solo and have had more fun since playing with likeminded players (the clan is about the win not K/D)
The reason i play solo at times is i get sick of people quiting and us not getting full games
