So then why is Sony holding back Activision? Pretty sure XBox is having lag compensation issues as well, and as far as I know the PS3s lack of memory has nothing to do with XBox.
Like I said, I don't care where you studied and what you studied there, what you're saying doesn't add up. You're OP has to do with the PS3s lack of memory being the issue, and now you've slowly gone to the code being rushed as the main issue.
And you're response to everyone is arrogance. Everyone who doesn't agree with you doesn't know what they're talking about.
I know absolutely nothing about this kind of stuff, nor do I care to know. I'm just telling you that from the stand point of a computer illiterate person, you're theory has some major holes in it.

The difference between PS3 and Xbox 360--one company has suffered a $6.4 loss.

You forgot the billion, also what does that have to do with memory and programming?

It has holes from the perspective of a computer literate person, too, but they're just not bothering to go down this rabbit hole.

I understand where you are coming from and you points have some truth, but code has a lot to do with memory it is all inter connected. My OP was stating problems with cod, not the lag compensation side of things. The random out of memory errors, freezing and other bs this game does.
Also if you read my OP talks about code having errors leading to memory leaks, so I have kept on my topic and branched off of what I said to elaborate more.

Did they even use the XDR ram?, we all know (or do now since im saying it) that XDR ram perform at a much higher rates than regular ram. Take a look at their site..

Your OP said these are Sony's problem. If these were issues with the PS3, we would see them in other games on the PS3, and we wouldn't see them in XBox or PC versions of the game.
Code errors and memory leaks in CoD wouldn't be Sony's problem either.

They do use xdr ram for the system ram and yes that very good. But there is still the problem of having separated ram for both makes no sense. The cell processor is optimized for xdr ram, but yet the split it in half. The more you look at the inside of the ps3 the more it looks rushed to be worth 600 at launch.

It is Sony's problem, why develop a system based on a processor no one had experience with programming, then to limit the system memory knowing a 10 yr life cycle would be pushing it. Then on top of it not to give support to developers to overcome this problem.
