MW3 Lag Is out Of Control

MW3 Lag Is out Of Control because anytime there is double XP or Clan Ops the lag is so bad you cannot hardly participate. I don't understand why I'm getting lobbies that are 100 + MS Ping. I don't understand why. There were about 485,000 players online. It doesn't matter if there are 250,000 players on it still lags as if 4585,00 players are online.
The consistency is this game down right sucks. Folks always have a 2 second lead on myself. If the next game is like this I will wash my hands completely of this franchise. I'm sorry to say that I have never, ever had lag in a COD games like I have had in this one.
I.W. Why you no fix lag?
They cant fix it. Its impossible to fix a problem that is created from having home internet and xboxs being the host of the game. They can fiddle with it but thats about it, it will never be consistent.
BAd one game, worse next then Ok.....it's the variability that's a killer.

Yeah, it's true, all they can ever really do is tweak with the lag comp to make it as good as it possibly can get by their own extent of knowledge. But, they can fix the matchmaking, which will probably help you out a little more in the end.
I have to agree with you gallp13. I admire the devs for trying something to "level" the playing field. But they can't fix this problem, no matter how elegant their algorithms are. It is the nature of networking and the internet. There are just way too many variables and sometimes, not all the time...trying to solve the problem makes the problem worse.
In this case, it seems to be the consistency most people seem to be frustrated with. One game you're god, the next..can't kill anyone. Hopefully, they will continue to look at this problem and fine tune the parameters of their algorithms. I just hope the keep in mind that consistency in terms of lag/pings/hops and crappy ISP;'s will never be something they can address.
