only things ive changed in the config is video, according to the mw3 optimizations on steamforums, and also changed chat controls to y,u,i, cause i always press "t" when trying to press "r", which is quite annoying kills against when you toggle chat and are supposed to reload:D

Guys another problem as soon as i downloaded the patch and the dlc(i dont know which of these two does the problem),my nat type was open and now is strict

I had the "Files Different From Server" problem, and I think I found a fix. 

I reset my config_mp.cfg file by renaming it and restarting MW3.  It is located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3\players2".  This will reset all your settings, including keyboard customizations, video rendering settings, etc. Do not delete the original, rename it.  This way you can swap it back in or copy and paste portions from one file to the other. 

Before doing this I tried the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" procedure from within Steam, but that didn't resolve the problem.

UPDATE: Turns out this did not fix the problem.  Actual (temporary) fix below!

main/iw_25.iwd different from the server !!! FIX the got damn game.

Okay, turns out that fix didn't truely do, but I found a solution that is working so far!

Close MW3. Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3\main. Rename the file 42695.sdm to something else such as 4295.smd_old. When you go into MW3 DO NOT hit F1 (to disable Collection 1).  Simply go into game.  You may have to redo this fix occassionally (especially if you hit F1), but so far it appears to be working.  To turn the new maps back on just rename the file back.
