Hey,
me and vampirewolfy tested that trick, he tried hopping me and it just worked while i had that tag... so this is not true! you can still be hopped if you use that tag.
No sh!t sherlock. Did you honestly think that putting three letters in your name was going to make any difference? I bet you went out and bought a bunch of Facebook stock too.
I knew that it wouldnt work, but some people don believe it before proof.

Well the leader of our clan posted this too, then found after that it doesn't work. But there was good reason to think it might..
I'm sorry but what sane person would think that adding three random characters to their name would do anything but invite hackers? I give the folks at OFC a bye since most of us are to old to understand how this computer stuff works. I'm from Missouri, the show-me state. So of course I am a sceptic. Please tell me that the OFC didn't invest all of our clan money in Facebook too.lol.

I honestly can't believe that many people thought buying facebook stock would be a good idea in the first place.
Who would have thought people would spend real money on virtual seeds for their farm.. ![]()
Tons of sucka's out there
Watch that stock is going to be worth about $12 in 6 months. A dumb roofer can figure it out but a bunch of so called experts were blind sided. Makes you want to take all of your money and hide it in jelly jars in the back yard.
LOL Mike..it was me.... I looked at the code the hacker wrote. It does check for the character sequence ^1[DHM] and will not allow the hack. I don't know how to explain this to you guys but it's a simple if-then statement. The check for this can be easily removed from the hacking code, thereby making the tag prefix noted above useless. So it was there, but it was by no means going to stop the hackers. Also guys, the notion of putting this prefix on your profile is not a hack...lol
Not to point out the obvious silent, but you entered the wrong prefix. You transposed the letters my friend...lol That's probably why it doesn't work...
I'm starting to think the SysEng is the only one here who knows what he's talking about.
Look, the reason it didn't work is because you did it wrong. It's "^[DHM]" not "[DMH".
That's where you went wrong, the if statement didn't work because your hex was invalid. It didn't match the if statement, so the code worked as normal. Lrn to ASCII -> hex my friend.
The trick does work, you just did it wrong. And SysEng is right though, people can remove the check fairly easily which is why I let the code creator know that he should have coded it in PPC asm with a Cmpw instruction, not the 20 codetype :/. PPC asm
Is harder to decode.
Edit: meant to say it has to be "^1[DMH]" not "^[DMH]" :P
Can't edit on my iPod.
That`ll work? Typing this ^1[DMH] Beast, for example? You sure, like 100% sure

i did that, dindt help at all
K, didnt think so ![]()
you keep transposing the letters LOL
v. trans·posed, trans·pos·ing, trans·pos·es
v.tr.
2. To put into a different place or order: transpose the words of a sentence. See Synonyms at reverse.
3. Mathematics To move (a term) from one side of an algebraic equation to the other side, reversing its sign to maintain equality.
4. Music To write or perform (a composition) in a key other than the original or given key.
5. To render into another language.
6. To alter in form or nature; transform.
v.intr.
2. To admit of being transposed.
Is this a new form of trolling that I have not been made aware of??
this has happened to me several times already and...... oh.
oh, I see what you did there -__-
This is turning into a very comical thread... Why does everyone want to type DMH instead of DHM? I think alot of keyboards have the H and M transposed or something?
indeed. I think they're just trolling now, though
LOL, I must be tired of something. It's "^1[DHM]"
did you just type it wrong on the forums? (You put DMH not DHM) or did you just put it wrong in game as well?
its DMH.,
Silent, can you get on teamspeak??
Ow dang dindt see this sorry : /
i thought it was DHM for "Dont hack me" ![]()
Medz, it's what I put in my post..for Don't Hop Me...So it's DHM not DMH..It also needs the brackets AND the proper escape sequence.
He also needs to make SURE he enteres the escape sequence EXACTLY like it is written. But I think this is pretty much worthless. It also depends on what version of the hack vampy is using.
Let's face it guys, putting this in front of your name isn't going to cause you to get hacked. They are doing it to plenty of people without it. Will it call attention to you? maybe...but it's not going to hack your Wii. However, my suggestion is don't use it as it's useless with another version of the hack...
BTW, I hear if you put that in your profile, they hackers can then break into the Federal Reserve and cause a global financial crises by changing all of the currency into Monopoly Money.
: /
to everybody again, i dindt believe this, i just wanted to show the other peeps that its not workin.

Oh good, because thats one thing I have plenty of. ![]()
Pauly, I always suspected you were a hacker! ![]()
They are gonna have to something about this, i dont have mw3 for my wii but im certanily not getting this while all this major stuff is happening.
Im dumbfounded that people believed the [DHM] thing would work in the first place. Using that in your name is kinda like putting a big HACK ME sign on your head. ![]()
