how to not be host...

recently my isp, comcast, has been throtteling my bandwidth. Proabablly becuase I stream alot of netflix and bittorents. anyways my question is how do I not get host when using the wired adaptor?

 

ever since my upload speed went from 5 mb to a little under 1 mb and I am host for a game everyone tries to connect but they can't join in, but I start the game like normal, thus I play the game like normal (with a bit of lag) and eeryone is left as a spectator and after 30 seconds that no one can join I automatically win/end the game.

 

 

*n.b. this is not a hack, while I do enjoy programming, I don't use cheats, I just join in and play like normal. Furthermore I would love to just use the built in wifi to play (and like that I wouldn't be host) but even with a wifi enabled router and wifi bridge (repeater) I can barely get one bar in any game mode.

    Download p0rn while looking for a match, no seriously that would work

    But yea just download something big while looking for a match.

      already tried that...
      watched a hulu video while playing snd (I won; enemies forfeited)

      watched a youtube video, the young turks, while playing tdm (I won; enemies forfeited)
      watched some of dat pr0ns on dat internet while playing hardcore tdm (I won; enemies forfeited)

       

      Definitely not bad for my win/loss ratio but I feel bad for the other 7 players that connect and just have to sit there and wait or just watch me do absolutely nothing but run around like a douche).

    *more info: I guess I may have been vauge as to what the speeds are, they are in mb/s not megabits or whatever the devil isps use to make thier internet sound faster.
    I used the speedtest and xfinity speed test tools to determine my upload and download speeds. Just to show how bad my speeds are, and yet for some reason I get host.

     

    speedtest (from the other side of the coast of the us to near where I live):
    dl: 25-29 mb/s
    up: .69-1 mb/s
    ping: 110-70 sec

     

    xfinity (same as the one above)
    dl: 27-31 mb/s
    up: .80-1 mb/s

    ping: 124-65 sec

    Play Reflex and dominate there or share your internet password thingamajig with your neighbors
