I have 23 days in black ops and currently just short of 12 days in MW3 (currently 93K in world TDM, K/D 1.55). This compensation problem is the most frustrating thing in the game. You have added the face off concept which is a great concept, until you destroy it with lag comp. I just finished a round where a guy was firing a stinger, walked up to him, put 5 rounds from 10' in him before he dies with a striker. The other day, walked up to a guy, put 2 rounds from same striker, within 5' of the back of his head, he turns and shoots me! I base my weapon load out on the initail number of bars people have in the game, not on the magical "everyone has 3 and 4 bars" once everyone is in. If I have 3 bars, I'm golden, I play aggreassive and with a striker with either damage or range. If I have 4 bars and the other team has 3 or less, then MP7 and shoot them in the back, because if I see them from the front, I'm already dead. I use the MP7 with rapid fire as my lag compensation! They put out great maps, great concepts, yet the fun factor goes out the window when you don't know how things are going to go based on this compensation crap. Sometimes I will see a very unbalanced team, one team has everyone at 1.3+ K/D, multiple prestiges, the other team has people all below .75 and green stripers. It's a no brainer whcih team will win, until you add the "C" factor. Alll of a sudden you have 3/4 to a second of lag, now which team won? It wasn't the better team, it was the team with the better "C" factor!!!!!!
Please fix the compensation in face off. It works poorly in TDM, it works 10X worse in face off. It is a no brainer if you average the pings out of 4 or 6 people that it will be different than if you do so out of 12. One person with a poor ping has a much larger effect on the group. This isn't your 1st game, so don't act like it!
Just to be clear, I didn't do elite, I have not purchased any map packs simple because I refuse to further support a broken game.
