Specialist Strike Package a rip off of Black Ops?

Anyone who's played Black Ops (which I know most of you have) have experienced the reward for completing an easter egg in one of the zombies maps after Shangri-La - all 7(8 in Moon) Perks for that level until the game ends.
In MW3, we have the Strike Package which rewards us with perks instead of killing machines for killstreaks. At an 8 killstreak you will have every single perk in the game.
Both games have a system where the player receives multiple perks for completing an action, but Black Ops was released first. Have IW stolen this idea from 3arc and slapped it onto MP? (A freakin AWESOME idea, can't see why 3arc didn't do it in the first place)
I'm not trying to demean IW or anything, but I seriously don't believe this is coincidence. Sure, the Strike Package sounds as beast as the Golden AK-47 from CoD4, but where did it originate from? Ideas?
Is it really that big of a deal? Developers do this kind of thing all the time (and considering that, in this case, both developers share the same assets for the series...).
No. Yes. Maybe...
I heard this before i never played zombies really. If you didnt know IW and 3arc do work together somewhat together. So it could of been or it could of jus been coincidence. The idea is kinda basic so its like 50/50 that they got the idea from 3arc. As for the Strike Package thing its just the same situation. They take ideas from the community and also there own.
+I like it because you change them as you change your class. Like in some situation on other COD games I wish I had on another killstreak set up. With this you can do it in game. Just simply change classes and you got another setup. Im sure it was an original Idea.

Well of course, I just wanted a good and hearty discussion of something completely out of line after all the trolls roaming around.
But yes, I knew 3arc and IW work together, but I believe this is completely fanbased more than anything else. Trying to go stealthy in objective really sucked because you open yourself up to explosives (i.e. grenades and tubes)
What about it, friend? ![]()
Each year it is obvious things are takenfrom each, removed, moved around, things are innovated and added. Noticed stopping power is also gone? This is a damn good idea, maybe he was playing zombies and realized how bad ass it was, but it isn't stealing as much as trying something new and keeping things that were good, (the removal of stopping power, danger close, weakening of tubes) which was all in black ops.
Edit: CoD is a very malleable game that reforms with each release, and each company/release just adds on or reforms the current content to try and fit itself as completely as possible.
Well if IW/SL were smart, then they would've known keeping SP in MP would've been catastrophic for their game, so they added it to the base of every weapon like 3arc did since it got so much positive feedback.
Meh on the word stealing. It's just a term I decided to use. Would "borrowed" be a more likable term for you? I know companies "borrow" ideas (we all know BF's vehicles thing was derived from the Halo series) but it's really rare for developers of the same franchise to use each other's ideas. For example, people loved being able to choose their perks, yet IW didn't keep the currency idea in their game.
The currency system was a trash gimmick IMO, glad it is gone. ANd I have no idea what you are tlaking about, built into the guns? BO had weak as **** weapons that were obviously missing stopping power, unloading a whole clip into somebody isn't fun, and MW3 also does not have stopping power, but the guns are beefed up (but not to the same damage level)
Ah. I get what you mean. You see, I never played BO MP much because of all of the sync issues which completely ruined the game. I can see why the tryhards are glad to see it go. I am too, but some really loved the perk thing, which I agree on - just not including everything needing to be bought with currency. Goes to Darnell also.
Not alot of people liked it. I hated it. Kinda killed the purpose of leveling and the fact it felt like I had to budget on a fps.

And it just led to everybody instantly buying ghost and nothing else.
There's also the fact that that the perk was released in the DLC just one week before MW3 was revealed at CoD XP (with the Specialist strike package in-game).
I'm sure it was either random circumstance or an idea shared between the devs.
Shangri-La was released in August...
Development tells that the idea was thought of around February.
Well i dont know if you can call it a borrowed idea since they both work on the same game just different time frame and other things. Plus how do you know that 3arc didnt get a wind of the idea and implement it themselves in the DLC?
Also IW introduced perks, attachements, KS, camos, custom classes, equipment and prolly more i cant think of at the momement. Taking an idea and making it their own is not a big deal and i dont actually think they took it from 3arc.
