So basically, i've spent the last 6 months trying to contact MW3 support..
they don't seem to help, and im starting to get pissed here..
i keep getting an Error:
Error, the call of duty mw3 server is not avaible at this time, please check www.callofduty.com/status for updates..
DAFUQ.. and it takes 2-3 mins for it to actually load when i click play..
bump
Google the fix. Or you can just validate you game. Or you can re-install the game.
Delete everything inside the steam folder but steam.exe and steamapps (close steam first) And run steam.exe
It's a good fix, works every time.
trust me, tried everything...
i even wrote to them, and they're not helpful at all..
that was the end of my cod era.. back to BF from now on.. atleast they can provide with a proper response..

So what have you tried?
There are allot of things that you can try to resolve this issue and they have been said on here many times over and they usually fix the fault for 99% of people, the other 1% is just user error or not knowing enough to complete the tasks.
lol, aint a noob ;P
i've done everything they told me to do;
re-installed steam entirely..
uninstalled mw3 and re-installed it..
opened the ports in my router (checked)
and i checked my firewall ..
and yes, i did validate it..
and yes, i did try to delete almost every file in the steam folder.. exept for steam.exe and steammaps ^^
it's taken me 6 months to get the game working, still hasn't fixed it..
it's either time for them to refund my money, or give me a new cd-key.

Well clearly you have not tried everything.
What is your CPU?
Is it AMD or Intel?
Have you tried updating DirectX?
Have you updated all your Drivers?
Have you opened the port's in the windows Firewall as well as in the router?
Have you tried running it without your Anti-Virus programme running?
Have you tried installing windows on a seperate hard drive and then just the game with just the windows updates etc, and nothing else other than drivers for your network card as well as sound, chipset and graphics?
Have you checked to see if you have been VAC banned?
Have you sent your Steam profile ID page to IW/Acti to see if they have banned you from the game?
Have you updated your BIOS, is the game fully patched from steam. turn your firewall off and antivirus to see if they are stopping the game connecting.
i have updated my drivers, 5 times actually ^^
its AMD, DirectX is updated.. and clearly wierd worlds are these
didn't read my post, since i already said that i opened the ports..
my steam profile is in good standing, and i should'nt have to install windows on a seperate hard disk since the problem wasn't there to begin with (and i havn't touched my OS meanwhile)
checked my firewall aswell as my anti virus..
i'm starting to think i'll never get a refund, they always send me in other directions that then leads me back to the origin..
that's the last cod game i'll buy, sad.. no point in keeping my collection either..
Right let's just clear something up.
The clean install is incase some update has been installed that has caused the game to stop working, which can happen and has happened for some people in the past.
If you are not willing to try that then I am not going to offer any help to you.
As for a refund you WILL NOT!!!!!! get a refund as the game is linked to your Steam account all, that can be done is for you to send a email to Valve and request it no longer show up on your list of playable games, and they will remove it but if you want it back in the future then you have to buy it again.
As for not reading your post I did read it, but as you didn't mention anything about opening the ports within windows firewall or having it disabled I asked the question.
Throw your computer out the window.
