Lol. I wonder if anyone remembers me...
26 days played on BO for PS3, and I enjoyed it, overall. There aren't really any technical issues I experienced that stand out in my mind at the moment, though. I only recall frequent freezes shortly after launch (which were ironed out over time through patches), and that's it.
Brilliant!
Adding you, I make that 134,438 Black Ops users on PS3 with only minimal issues and 2,045,980 Black Ops users on PS3 who had game-breaking issues.

I do. Its morgue.
Hello fellow Codinites, Just wanted to add my 3 cents on what I want out of Black Ops 2. Maybe since this is the ninth game to come out under this franchise can we at least have a smooth launch. I would like the developers to take all the knowledge learned from the past 4-5 years and make the game perfect from day one. If possible try not to depend on post launch patches and get it right right now. Black ops initial launch was a mess but since we love the series so much we let them get away with it. It's playable now but those first few months were not good unless you were playing on xbox. But since we all know something is gonna be OP and be in need of a much needed patch I also want the devs to treat all platforms as one and don't have one system waiting on standby.
Very well said. I too hope and desire exactly what you have said. Your post displays a quality that is needed within this subforum. We had a very very rough time last game. It brought the fail and foul out of a lot of towards this Development Studio.
I'm not trying to say that Activision doesn't have the money to make CoD for PS3, I'm saying they go an EXTRA incentive to specifically design the game for Microsoft's system
I think it comes down to a matter of... Do they make it for PS3 and down scale the graphics to run on Xbox even though they have contract. I don't think that is a option.
Agree'd on that one.
It all comes down to 'testing'. The 'in-house' beta IW/Treyarch currently do (most likely an Activision decision) instead of a public one just hasn't really done it the last couple iterations. Hell, MW3; the Theatre mode didn't even work for PS3. Depends on how much time they've left themselves at the end.
I hope for one, there's no more game-breaking host crap. No more silly over-powered things. No cutting corners or shoddiness.
Then, and only then. Will players and developers live in harmony
(which really, is what we all want. A happy Dev and a happy player is more productive than ones bitching and throwing cuttlery at each other).

Indeed. We pay for a game we love.. they receive our money for doing what they love.
