I've explained my position on it. I don't have to defend it further. I will be interested to see what others have to say. I would be surprised if many supported your stance.

Split screening in public lobbies creates lag. Think of it like this, your console instead of running ONE game, it now has to run TWO of the same game at the same time. The processor inside your console must work twice as hard to accomodate the second player and keep up with all the same things as the first player. The processer in the XBOX is already stressing on running a single player due to the high amount of graphics/setups/etc. The PS3 is a whole different beast because it has a little faster processor, but the way the RAM is handled on the PS3 causes issues the XBOX doesn't see.

Split screening should stick to private matches and combat training.

No thanks, you're one of the reason COD has been lagging.

When you split-screen, you're sharing your internet connection between two players which is causing frame rate & sync problems for the host & the other players.

Sorry but I'm tired of hosting split screeners in public matches. It should either be removed or kept in private matches/combat training.

    Couldn't have said it better

I play on PS3 and haven't had an issue with split-screen ever. It jsut makes the game more social and fun. Some people get so uptight, I highyl doubt they are going to remove a feature that is pretty much expected at this point.

This is an XBox forum. I think if you would read the comments posted so far, it has nothing to  do with people being uptight. Everyone who has spoken out against this feature has spoken from experience, and others have even provided concrete proof to back up their perspective on it.

You are probably right, it is most likely coming back, but the OP asked a question and we are giving him our honest opinions.

I still think people are being uptight about it but you are right, this is an xbox forum and I am sorry I brought PS3 into it.

Thats kind of an attack on the people who've posted here. Can you explain how people are being uptight by expressing their opinions?

Ok, well you are right, that is a sweeping vague statement I made. I just think that while I don't doubt some people experience it, the problem is blown out of proportion. It is a fun feature and really expands multiplayer to something yo ucan do with a friend instead of it being something you do alone. I just think, like a lot of things in Call of Duty, things get blown up to looklike this lag is a constant and happens every single time, when in reality it doesn't affect everybody. I just think it would be more productive if they try to address these issues to make the feature more stable instead of taking it otu of the game completely.
