You seem to think that I'm specifically talking to u even tho I'm not. I specifically stated what most of you are tell me and that I'm replying that I have never experience any of these lag. I wasn't trying to change anyone's mind, it seems your the one that's trying to change my mind. Btw none of you have given any proof and yet your asking for my proof. Why you bring up the boosting topic any, I don't see how this would affect you, if they boost, they get ban or reset. Split screen arent the only one that boost. This is about the lag issue that's clearly affecting you and some other player, where as some don't. I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm just saying what I think of some of yours and others opinion. Let's just leave it at that, no one is wrong or more right over the others opinion.
Here is the reason I hate split screeners (Specifically the ones who don't sign in on their own xbox live account.
I just played an entire TDM with a split screener on my team. Guess what he did? Sat there cooking frag grenades and killing himself the entire time.
It can't be my connection. I host 70-80% of matches and once a group of split-screeners enter a lobby, it becomes a lag fest for everyone else. My mates complain about the same thing once a group of split screeners enter our lobbies. They don't want split-screening to come back
If it was my connection, the game wouldn't give me host most of the time considering my connection is the strongest in the lobby.
there isnt a single split screen in mw2 and yet the lag in that game is far more worse than anything compare to black ops and mw3.
Actually, a majority of players will tell you that MW2 had minor lag issues compared to Black Ops & MW3. I can guarantee it.
And guess what? MW2 didn't have a split-screener feature. ![]()
Unless there is split-screen lag all of the time for everyone, the feature shouldn't be removed. Sorry, but outside of these forums, I know noone who has a problem with it lag-wise.
No one does? Huh... tell us more. You can quantify this... how?
I said I KNOW no one.......difference. Stop trying to be condescending or all-knowing or whatever kind of BS you are spewing right now.
WOW, this was retarded.
Firstly, you imagine most players in the community agree with you when most likely it is like 2 of your IRL friends and we can safely assume that most of the community is against split-screen because of the numerous replies against and the mass of threads against it, also personally I find most lobbies I go into people are always complaining about the connection issues induced by split-screen.
Furthermore, you keep telling everybody split-screen is not the cause of lag because you never see it whilst split-screening (invalid point because it is obvious you would not see issues because you are being compensated for) and you claim whilst playing solo against split-screen you also never see it, I think the reason for this is you are thinking of a different kind of lag, the type of CONNECTION INTERUPTED jittery lag but that is not at all what it looks like it is the fact that split screeners feel out of sync and somehow immune to bullets when playing against them and because you are a rookie at playing solo you don't notice this BS because it rarely occurs to you.
If they somehow fixed the issues (most likely making split-screen really laggy) then a lot more people would be PRO split-screen, although annoyances like bad communication and split-screeners usually being less skilled would still gather hate.
There is definetly connection problems because of split-screeners even if you don't believe it and it is not because of other people's connections.
What's the real reason people are biased against split screen in mp?
The majority of the community do not want splitscreeners in the game. /thread
Splitscreen is a double edged sword. In theory, it's a good idea that allows friends to play together on the same console.
But the outcome, is how 95% of those splitscreeners, are just plain terrible lol. Not only that, but the splitscreener is usually controlled by 1 player, in an attempt to use P2 as a boosting partner in Infected matches for example.
Overall, I believe it'll most likely stay in Black Ops 2. But if FFA gametypes allow splitscreeners, make that whole gametype unranked, just like the Ante Up Wager Matches.
