I can't get one either, I have seen them from people boosting but I get the video and screen shots of them and report them to activision support. I haven't seen a legit one yet.

They need to remove deathstreaks or at least add a playlist without that crap, then going for a moab would not be as frustrating & people would get it without specialist more, I have gotten a few but been buzz killed way more. I once had 9 Final stand assists 1 away from a moab. I also once died 2 away to a moab without specialist on in KC do to martyrdom taking a tag.

i hear ya red , i still havent gotten one and i dont think its gonna happen , sure u would like to get one but you dont get an emblem for it .. soo im not that worried about it .. i have never even really came close .. and i actually think im a above average player but i could be wrong .

At some point you might just want to stop trying.

After I learned what a MOAB was I tried for a solid 2 days to get one, and kept getting 18 to 20 killstreaks only to die from a random nade or something aggrivating. I stopped trying for while. At the end of one of my prestiges I threw on specialist just to finish ranking up faster. I ended up getting one, and now I have 8 or something. Stop trying, relax and play

i have 37, and its not like im the best player in the world. honestly, you just have to play the game more than average and have a history with past cods. ive noticed that my skill level went from

mw2-ass

BO-slightly above average

MW3- Above average (2kd ish)

it caries over, and its just the knowledge of the game that will help you.

sorry to break it to you, but if you havent gotten it yet in the games life cycle, you probably arent going to get one until the next game comes out, where most of the good players will leave for the next game. ive gotten them with the l86, the pm9, aa12, all sorts of bad guns, but it still wasnt easy, it will never be EASY to go on a 25 gunstreak. so yeah, other players are going to get better at around the same rate as you, so usually peoples skill levels in one cod game dont change too much, its when the new one comes out youll see a difference if youve been playing for a while. just get your reflexes up there and develope your gunskill and techniques.

my best advice would be to wait until black ops 2 drops, and then try for it. i dont image it would be too hard then

I have 30+ and I only play TDM but conditions have to be "right" for it to happen for me.

My usual group of guys I play with usually keep me from getting one because they are too good, in other words I dont have enough time to build 25 kills before its over.

But the majority of mine have come when playing solo on TDM and it seems they are easier to get through the day, for me anyhow.

I know this will bring some hate but when I am really trying to get big killstreaks I play pure stealth classes with a silenced G36. There are too many dot chasers and having a silenced gun just makes it easier for me.

The map has alot to do with it. For example my favorite MOAB hunting map is Village. Not because I hide I just can keep things more in front of me.

I love dropping bouncing betties and portalable radars behind me as I advance just to help cover my backside.

Plus I stay on the outter edges of most maps to cut down on where incoming fire will be. Keep the edge of the map to one side and you cut down 50% of your field of fire where enemies can come from.

Stay moving, usually a pure camper will not get enough kills, especially in TDM, plus if your playing against decent players you wont live long staying in one spot.

Lastly like others have said, quit trying and just play the game. Use your favorite weapon and set it up with Specialist so you dont run out of ammo because once you have every perk as pro things tend to get easier.

i got 2 this week by not trying running assault like usual.. one in arkaden & one in resistance... i never try to get them.. they just pop up .. i already got 50+ lost count when i hit 20's lol ..

thats the problem, your trying to get one, i have gotten 13 of them, and all have been a suprise...

i just get on a streak, and then before I know it... beep beep.. moab ready for deployment

This is an old but great topic. I've been playing MW3 for a few months and I still can't get one. I was close a couple times, I went 23-0 on Oasis using the ACR and Specialist, but died due to the remaining time. I also went 41-0 there using the Assault package (20 gun kills), and now my barracks killstreak is 27.

I learned that the barracks counts explosions from explodable objects (barrels, cars, etc.), which apparently doesn't count toward a MOAB. So you really can't use that stat to see how far you were away from achieving a MOAB.
