    I had to lol at who ever said 'who cares about ghost, I'll have SOH and Quick Draw' Aiming and reloading your gun faster isnt going to help you when your spine is crippled by my silenced MP5 brah.

     

    Was my tactic in MW1, MW2 and BLOPS (WaW was the exception with the beastly Semi's) and will sure as hell be in MW3 even when I have to use more perk slots and proficiencies (every one keeps forgetting about those).

     

    Tis just a shame that campers are giving the humble stealth player a bad name.

     

    Also, WTF camps Ghost with a sniper in a corner? Worst tactic every.

    I will have Assassin on my Sniper class and I fully intend to sit in a corner of a the map shooting people from range, that is what a sniper does

    I thought they ran at full speed until they seen an enemy. At which point they would jump, do a 360 and then half raise their rifle, fire and head shot you?

    I've no problem with people "camping" with a sniper rifle as that's what snipers are supposed to do. They're supposed to stay at distance,picking people off. I wouldn't call that camping - it's called sniping.

    A camper to me is somebody who sits in the corner of a room,with their sights trained on the door,waiting for somebody to run in.

    Yeah I agree, Sniping and camping are two different things, campers tend to pick certain or even random corners to just catch people off guard and tend to keep going back there no matter how they get killed.

     

    What I hate is when I know someone is walking by so I stop moving and wait for them and kill them and get called a camper when that is the first time I have ever even been in that position throughout the whole game. Campers tend to be like repeat offenders lol.

    I'm pretty confident in the Tier 2 balance this time around.  With Assasin being only half of the Ghost perk now it wont be as dominant, but look at the other perks. 

     

    Blast Shield - You know how IW makes games, and Blast Shield is going to be MUCH more valuable in MW3 than in Black Ops, just b/c IW likes big explosions and crazy killstreaks.  Not only that, it combines tac mask pro and Flak Jacket from Black Ops - you get defense from explosions AND stuns/flashes.  I know I'll be running Blast Shield exclusively.

     

    Quickdraw - Otherwise known as the "Quickscope" perk.  QS is back in MW3 and you know how many people will be quickscoping.  It's pointless to quickscope without this perk.  And for non-QSers, the pro ability of switching to ur machine pistol faster is pretty viable too.

     

    Hardline - 2 assists counting as a kill towards next killstreak reward, so more powerful than MW2's hardline, AND the non-resetting support strike package makes hardline even MORE valuable.  Even Riot control with the Riot Shield counts with Hardline Pro.

     

    Overkill - wasn't very popular in COD4 but MW3 shotguns will be way more beast than COD4 shotguns and you don't have to give up Stopping Power anymore.  Having a MW2-style shotgun secondary will be very powerful, and your secondary will also get its own proficiency and attachment.

     

    See, these perks really give Assassin a run for its money.  I think MW3 has very good perk balance, with the exception of the useless Marksman and Extreme Conditioning perks lol

    I'm not worried about Assassin at all.

     

    People don't understand that this game will move much faster, and be much more frenetic. The little Ghost crawlers aren't going to know what hit them when I rush them and Spas their brains out.

     

    You can't succeed that well with a stealth playstyle in an IW CoD, and I like that.

     

    Assassin (Ghost) has a LOT to compete with now. Ghost has NOTHING to compete with in Black Ops. Nothing at all. There's NOTHING to think about when choosing perks in Black Ops. It's Ghost Pro/Sleight of Hand Pro/Whatever.
