snipers are for long range, shotguns are for close ranges.

if snipers can kill at close range, than shotguns should kill at longe range, so you what problem quickscopers are ?

The snipers were originally good for those who snipe the correct way, and they prevented all the noobs from using them so you didn't have half your team hanging back not playing the objective.

the thing with snipers and quickscoping is that it ain't as good as shotgun cause they just shoot while qs has to aim down for like 1 second where they could die.

plus qs kinda does balance the sniper rifles cause it gives a chance to snipers in cqc. when a shotgun sees someone from far away, you have the option of running to cover or just away cause it takes time for them to aim and shoot and if you far it will take longer to aim. if you have a sniper and are in cqc (but you shouldn't be there in the first place) its a lot harder to run. you can say pistols should be out in cqc but you can say the same with shotguns when in open areas because pistols can be a good long range weapon too

Hey I'm sorry if you think that I put myself on a pedestal and see QSers as cheats. That's not actually the case...

I don't think that QSing is cheating per se, I just think that it is an exploit and the easy way...

There is a reason that you cannot ADS quickly with a scope on, and QSing basically sidesteps that nerf. Therefore it is an exploit...

What do I consider the hard way?

Several ways to make this game harder while Sniping rather than easier in my opinion...

Use a different gun to the L9 so there is less chance of a 1HK for instance? I have more kills with tha WA, PSG, and the Druggy then the L9...

Use your Secondary when navigating the map between Snipe spots? It's far harder to stab someone in a pub match then QS them...

ADS and drag for a headshot with a Druganov and you look like Rambo rather than a 10 year old L337 montage kid?

Do I need to go on? Come on man, you know full well that there are lots of ways to make the game harder for one's self...

Who looks more beast on the final kill cam in a Search game the kid that QScopes a foe at 20,30,40 metres or the guy with a Shotgun?

Why don't I post gameplay of me QSing? Keep up man, I already told you that I don't do it. To me it's like Spawn Trapping, I tried that also and got some big KS's but that didn't feel right and proper to me either...

Really? So now knifing is harder than quick scoping.

Why don't you post game play? Because you can't.

Just because it's an exploit, doesn't mean its easy to do. Elevator glitches on MW2 take a bit of practice and a ton of time, but they let you fly over the whole map.

The Fuel rock glitch took less than three seconds. That ruined the entire map on every game mode.

Also, just remove SoH Pro for snipers, and add a "Report Bad Quickscoper" button to the Report Player option like someone suggested on another thread. Quickscoping is fine, but some people need to understand that it isn't something you learn overnight.

SOH pro has never worked for sniper rifles in Black Ops.

You ever tried to take a knife into a gunfight? If your enemy is right on top of you then yeah a quick swipe and it's insta death, but if they are 20,30,40 metres away then it's some mean feat to get a knife kill...

I've never posted any gameplay footage of Black Ops and have no desire to. I'm not even any good at Black Ops and I can QS, so it really can't be all that difficult now can it...

90% of pub match QSers are school kids in my experience, and 99% of them talk trash on their mics...

2 good reasons to distance one's self from the practice if you are a sensible and mature gamer...

Quickscoping isn't gamebreaking and more times than not the person doing it will end up going negative.
