MW3 Hardened - Founder code

I got the Modern Warfare 3 Hardened edition, and it came with a black card that says Call of duty elite founder.

On the back is a long string of alphanumeric characters. What is this for, and how do i use it?

They put it in there just to take up space and look cool
No really they put it in there so if you happen to get your Hardened Edition after November 13th you can still redeem your Founder Status. The code on the COD Elite booklet is what gives you your Founder Status before the 13th. It takes a couple days for your Founder Status and it's effects to appear.

    No. The premium version of Elite is included with every Hardened Edition.

      Yeah, I tried the code again.. when I first tried it on release day, it said invalid code.. and I know it was right.
      Worked this time, but all it said was Thank you for using playstation network.
      What the hell does that mean? do i have premium? lol...

        EDIT: I logged into Elite and it said i'm a premium member.. thanks man, correct answer for you!

I enterd the code on back a couple of days ago and it stills says that im not a founder. i have the haredened edition. so what do i do now.

  I have the same issue. At first it told me I couldn't use the code at all, but when I went to xbox.com/redeemcode it worked and it appears on my computer on the account, but nothing has happened in MW3. I think this is cause Elite is down until the 13th (or whenever) and maybe once it's up I'll get it all? but so far I've gotten nothing and the code seems to have maybe worked. I'll see tomorrow or Monday

    Well I have elite now.But I think everone who redeemed a code got just standered elite because I redeemed my code before the 13th and I only have the yellow XP next to my name.And the founder 1 is green like this.And I redeemed it before the 12/13th but I did not get the founder features.And were do I redeem my founder code because it just says this

Founder Status and awards are slowly rolling out to users. It's a slow process, but it's happening.

Give it time.

    No, you don't. If you've redeemed your premium subscription code, you're good. The Founder card is only for those who would have missed the November 13th deadline. That deadline has been moved up to the end of November and you've all been compensated 30 days of Elite time if you're a Premium Elite holder.
