It's quite pathetic. Now, I paid for a really good connection, not because I always wanted to be host, but just because it gave me a better chance at playing in more lobbies (quicker searches for games). Not going to lie, when I got host in CoD4, WaW or MW2, good things would happen.

Black Ops and MW3...the opposite. I get host a LOT and most of the time it's a handicap. I have a friend who also has a really good connection. If he's having a terrible game, before the match is over he'll say, "Well, let's see if this is the cause..." and he'll back out. 75% of the time he was host.

So yes, it's a real thing, and yes, it sucks.

Signed, I come out of a room and put 3 burst from a type 95 into a guy. on the kill cam it shows him killing me in the room i had just left before shooting him. I leave the game thinking im the host but i wasnt. Checked the internet connection and its setting on 5ms ping. I give up.

This post was created in Nov. and clearly the dev's either dont care or dont have the aptitude to get it right... I suggest to everyone/anyone who posted in the thread to stop whinning/trying and go pick up BF3 - Its server based and has so much more to the actual gameplay.. if youre switching from cod you pick up the basics in no time..  - In the mean time, toss this piece of trash where it belongs (The Garbage)...

Infinity Ward has lost me as a customer. If I play mw3 I could careless if I go 1-100 anymore because the same issues are present as when the game officially came out. I no longer feel the need to try so I basically tact knife and throwing knife every game. There are plenty of games knives dont even register being thrown for me and to be honest like I said I dont care.

Blops plays alot smoother and even mw2 and cod 4... mw3 easily for me is the worst for multiplayer connection and it seems the lower the ping I have to the people in the lobby the more I am penalized. And oddball regions across the worl get a distinct advantage over me quite a bit as I die before guys come around the corner but on thier screen they been staring at me for 5 minutes wildly shooting everywhere that I am not and I am not even evading because I still havent seen them on my screen.
