Well, it's finally happened.

The floodgates have opened, and all the overseas connections put the final piece into ruining another good CoD game. I eneded up with games in:

-Norway

-Sweden

-Russia

-Netherlands

-United Kingdom

All of which were complete garbage. Getting killed before the enemy rounds a corner, putting an ENTIRE CLIP of Striker into someone close range, only to die from two bullets from a modded MK14. Look at the killcam, and apparently he was already around the corner emptying into me two seconds before I ever saw him on screen.

I have HAD IT. If the community wants this game to get any better, we need to get up Infinity Ward's ass and start beating down the doors with pitchforks and torches.

-NO MORE INTERNATIONAL GAMES. Region lock them, and keep their **** connections contained withing their own borders. I don't even want to see so much as a Canadian in the lobby. Quit letting foreigners use lag to justify a blatant lack of skill.

-FOLLOW THROUGH ON REPORTS. I'm getting sick and tired of garbage players resorting to bullshit just to win; I had a game last night my clan and I were actually winning by a fair amount (50-25). So what does the guy on the enemy team do? His connection conveniently goes to **** long enough for us to lose our lead, and almost lose the game. Unfortunately, public humiliation isn't acceptable here, so I digress.

The scum of the community needs to be put in their place; that's all there is to it. If we want Call of Duty to get any better, the best of the community needs to take a stand against the worst. Put the little brats to bed, and see that the leeches known as boosters/hackers/cheaters/glitchers are permanently removed. Keep international connections out of the U.S. and let them wait forever to find a game; as long as their garbage isn't ruining the game, I could care less.

The community can only help make the game better if we speak up. That is what we need to do to purge the community and cleanse it of the garbage.

Pretty much. For the last 5 titles now, we've had to put up with shitty match-making capabilities... and unless Treyarch decides to step up their style of match-making to include region locking, we're in for another year of it come November 2012.

The game is becoming a regular Billion $ title EVERY SINGLE YEAR now, but they still fear giving players a little more control in terms of match-making, and maybe provide some dedicated servers to take the hosting away from individual players.

From the last 3 titles alone, Activision has made more than 3 BILLION DOLLARS, so I don't want to hear from them any of that "it costs too much" ****. And that's just on game sales alone, that's not factoring in DLC and Elite Premium income either.

Why CHOICE is out of the question for these companies, I'll never know. Leave in the same crappy match-making for the 12yr olds who can't figure out how to use a filter, but give us other players the ability to restrict what matches we go into.

Battlefield 3 did it, Killzone 2 did it, even to a degree Portal 2 did it. Why this multi-billion dollar franchise can't do it, I'll never understand.

Funny, YOUR connections are just as bad to us "internationals", stop being so small minded, OP. Don't get me wrong, I would happily be rid of American connections; every time I go on at night it always seems to be American kids, quickscoping, camping, basically doing anything ratty they can. Funny how when I play during the day, that doesn't happen anywhere near as much.

Odd, the USA is ranked 25th in internet speeds. As my 250 down 15 up connection, pings from the west to the east coast at a max 70ms, I would rather you keep your slow connection from ruining my gaming as well. I would agree that matchmaking needs to be fixed.

This is true. The United f@cking States is 25th in stupid internet speed... Its quite depressing. I think if anything, the "internationals" should be pissed at us. The US kinda sux now. We don't do anything good anymore.

I agree that a Region Preference should be included.  Region mandated matchs though would be the worst idea ever.  The point of the internet is to be able to communicate with people across the world.  If I wanted to play with people in the US exclusively, I would be playing split-screen or LAN.  Also, I find it funny that you would talk about the problem as though it only happens to Americans.  Most of the poor connection matches I get into are from Amerikids playing and downloading porn and torrenting at the same time.  It's not an international matchmaking exclusive problem.  Don't forget the people using dial-up in the US are messing your game up as well.

Also, Canada has a better internet connection average than the US.  I would love to have a Canadian host my games.   On that note, if you're unable to host every game you play in, you should probably stop talking so highly of your connection.

And again with a whiny post. How many of these are you going to make? I do notice you only make them when you have had your butt handed to you, i guess it makes you feel better to come on here and blame every one but your self. If anything its our connections messing with the internationals becuase usa has the worse internet lol.

That's my second post ever, man.  I dunno what you're talking about, but I don't whine when I "get my butt handed to me."

I think you may have hit the wrong reply button.  I'm guessing you meant to press "Reply to original post."

Black ops had a "Local Only" function so yes a title has done it, unfortunately IW were retarded as usual and not add it in.
