lmao! ok..so to prove how much aim assist does NOT make quickscoping easy Im going to post another vid later on. I was sniping on Convoy yesterday and I was trying to quickscope this one guy and I swear I wasted between 5-8 shots on the guy before someone else shot and killed me.. aim assist does not help snipers with quickscoping.. I feel really sorry for you if you think think that.
@LewsTherinKinslayer - have you read any of my posts? Ive explained several times why shotguns and sniper rifles shouldnt be compared. #1. Just because a sniper rifle can perform at close range doesnt mean it can take the place of a shotgun. It has slower ADS, atrocious accuracy, and slower RoF. #2. Sniper rifles cant avoid close range combat because enemies will rush at them throughout the match while shotgunners can easily avoid going into wide open/long range areas. Therefore sniper rifles need to be capable at close ranges and shotguns dont need to be capable at long rang.
Even with quickscoping snipers will still dominate long range and SMGs, ARs, Shotguns will still dominate close range. SMGs can fire accross the map and kill a sniper from 1000yards away so why cant a sniper scope in and kill an SMG from 20 yards away? Sure its a OHK, but its slower ADS, shot has to be to upper chest or head for a OHK, semi-auto at best and the SMG guy will probably just hip spray anyways. The sniper is completely outclassed in all areas, theres no reason he shouldnt be granted the oppertunity to quickscope an incoming enemy.
