Counter MVP Challenge

I am working on this challenge atm im lvl 80(no prestige. Im trying to get all the perks titles+emblems)and i play domination alot so i got the mode choice done for 1. I always go on like 40-60 kill games and i know for a FACT that i killed the MVP 10-15 times. The last game i played, i killed the guy at least 15 times and he was first for the entire match. Can someone tell me what am i doing wrong? Because i am following the rules that the challenge has set. Unless i have to do it without dying(Which is bull**** is you ask me), i am doing everything right.
The game needs fixing.( Patches ).
Well that is true. But i doubt that they need to patch any challenges besides the wave 15 on all Spec Ops maps.
If it's the same as MW2 they have to be the top player on the enemy team each time you kill them, so if you were to kill them as a first blood or they dropped to 2nd for a while mid game and you killed them it wouldn't count. Also there was a bug in MW2 that meant they had to be the top scorer overall (not just enemy team), they might have fixed that but I wouldn't count on it.
This problem seems to be one of the biggest issues I have seen on this game as far as challenges go, I am having the same problem and I see this question everywhere I had looked to find answers for myself. I know it is possible in domination, I have asked a few ppl who had the emblem where they had gotten it and they said "Domination" so I know it can happen. Here is what I had gathered after speaking to people from activision and from my own experience. In objective games such as domination the person you need to kill 10x has to have the over-all high score not just on their team but over both teams. As for team deathmatch it is different, there it would only need to be their top player. I get that based off the only video on youtube there is on counter-mvp, and the activision's support that suggest doing it in there or a free-for-all match, though free-for-all leads me to believe that if you kill the top player that much you will be the top player, making it even more difficult. So if you want to do it in domination I suggest not claiming any points because if you are going to go on a killing rampage to get that guy 10x odds are you will end up with a higher score than the top person on their team, this seems to be an issue more often that not as far as it was for me. Anyway I hope this will help and clear it up a little and if anyone has any proof that this information is not correct please share!
Im trying to get sitrep pro, and half the gear I destroy doesnt get added to my totals. Also sentries/turrets, and even trophy systems dont seem to count. IT SUCKS
So if the OP is getting 40-60 kills , hes most probably mvp, so not qualifying. So its more luck than anything.
IMO you wana play solo, and you`ll have a good chance when you play a strong team/clan, who are likely to beat you, meaning you shouldnt be mvp, yet they may get like 20 deaths each, then its down to luck which of their guys mvps.
You could play FFA where everyone sucks, and as often happens in these games, theres 2-3 players who are way better than everyone else. Just aim for them, and let others kill you, or avoid you. Dont try to win the game, just target the guys most likely to win.
BRO TIP> check the lobby leaderboard before the game to check out whos the guys to target. Theres usually 1-2 guys with a 1.5+ kdr, who`ll win the game. No point killing 0.30 guys, or campers, coz they simply wont win, let the big players kill them and help them win. Its a tricky thing to achieve BUT is deffo possible, especially if you stay in the same lobby and 1 player is dominant.
Ive a 2.50 kdr in ffa, and when I start the game, if theres no players with a plus 1.5kdr in opposition I just know im gona win as the opposition genrally sucks.
You might even wana play HQ and killwhore, reason being its a longer game format, so more time to get the kills needed.
I love killwhoring![]()
Well this explains why I'll never get Counter-MVP, I remember a few times I had 10 to 1 K/D ratio in some sabatoge matches, actually got three MOABs in one match and in another got my best kill streak of 59.
Had no idea that the biggest obstacle in getting the title was myself.
wait, what?
if your best killstreak is 59, how did you get a triple moab(which would be at least 72 kills)??
A triple MOAB doesn't require a 72 killstreak. It requires a 24 killstreak, then one death, then another 24 killstreak, then one death, then another 24 killstreak.
See what I'm getting at? You have to die in order to have the chance to get another MOAB.

This is a video of me getting the challenge, I think it's the easiest way to do it so let me know if it helps ![]()
Okay, here's my tip on completing hard-looking challenges like this one:
Don't try to complete them.
Seriously. If you're playing the game but consciously trying to complete a challenge, you'll find it hard, stressful, and frustrating. Just play like you normally do and one day you'll get it without even meaning to.
Yup, the Heads Up challenge i got by pure luck in TDM one day. Just play how you always do, i got Perfectionist today and i was just doing some casual games.
Best way to get heads up is to spam Osprey's in high traffic area, as long as the enemy doesn't shoot it down, you'll find someone stupid enough to wait under it as it drops its cargo.
Or dropping trap crates on the top of hills or stairs since all they have to do is graze you while it's moving to kill you. I managed to get a kill in villiage when I put my market at the top of the slope to near the well and some guy was coming up when it dropped and crashed down into him. Have gotten it a few times legitly to, but that's just extreme luck.
I got Heads Up by accident too - an enemy strayed into my Escort Airdrop's marker just as care packages were falling out of the Osprey.
PS: the killfeed icon for killing someone with a crate is hilarious ![]()
I got mine in a kill confirmed match. I wasn't even trying to go for it because it seemed just so ridiculous, but lo and behold I apparently got it.
