I think the key to all this, as mentioned by a few people, is the lack of Elite support. Infinity Ward, if you won't support Elite for PC players, why do you force us to join games over IWNET without the ability to boot players. Why force us to use your system, which is overrun with hacking, just to rank up, when ranking up doesn't mean anything without Elite (apparently).
Ground War is dominated by 2-3 aimbot hackers, and Steam reporting isn't doing a thing. Team Defender is now being overrun with the immune hack. This is getting old, and I still like the fast paced gameplay of MW3.
I can handle a bit of lag, I have for years living in a remote town in the central U.S. IWNet for me has been a bit better than the atrocity MW2 had. I cannot handle $20 hackers ruining this game for me. I want to have a server (non hardcore, sorry guys but I can aim, don't need a crutch and camping isn't my style) and run it like a Black Ops server. (hate BO all you want, it was still a superior game when it came to PC support...)
People have cried, people have whined, people have raged. You sell us the same game every year, and most of us (me included) eat it up because it's still better than most other FPS games. Yet, you neglect the PC, where Call of Duty was born....how very sad.
