Run and Gun Cry Babies

Run and gunners seem to b e the biggest cry babies. When a good defense is set up against them the cry foul.  The they start calling everyone campers.  Funny thing is once they get to the other side of the map they start cmaping in your base.

They complan campers are ruining the game.   I say run and gun crie babies are ruining the community and the reason no one wants to turn on their mics.

I mostly run & gun ... but I agree with you.

    - EVERYONE camps to some degree

    - the characters are not programmed for constant movement. If they were, then someone could complain about camping

    - if they were truly good players, it wouldn't matter if someone camps or moves about

    - if everyone was a "run & gunner" then no one would be a run & gunner because there would be no need to distinguish r&g from other styles.

Ever noticed how someone that complains about camping won't go back and review the match with you in Theater?

Its because they were camping, too.

I love how people call it camping when playing objective based games... LOL what are we supposed to do, leave the objective so you can cap it?

Sorry! That's not going to happen... you need to take it from me, otherwise stop b*tching and get better.

Another camper justifying camping, pretty cool. There's a huge difference between protecting a flag and sitting in high traffic areas defending or capturing nothing.

Re: Run and Gun Cry Babies

See, this I agree with. Since I began playing the game, I've always stayed away from being a camper. Not only do I not want to be accused of it, but also tactically, it just never seemed like the right move to be in one spot too long. But on objective games, specifically for me Domination, you have to DEFEND.

Last night playing Dom on Village, I was on a team full of dudes hell-bent on running around trying to snag kills instead of actually capping/defending. Plus, the team we were up against were all on the mics bragging about how good they were (and they were). We were getting beat up pretty early on, but we wound up grabbing B and C. I hung out in corner of the shed near C and took down 3 of the other team's all stars in semi-quick succession. I did my job - I defended the objective. But what do I hear in the headset? "F****ing dude is camping in the corner!" Gimme a break. Blame yourselves if you're going to run all amok to an objective and not scope out the corners. I'm not even that good and I do.

Any time last night I stayed in a general area near an objective and snuffed out opposition, the headset blew up with complaints. Like it mattered. I was the only one defending and we got trounced badly anyway.

LOL yeah people like I'm defending hahah. team only has one flag he sits on that one. In reality a person that and navigate the map run and gun is an over all better player than someone that camps.

Someone who is a skilled player that run and guns- yes, that takes more ability. It doesn't take much skill to sit in a place knowing where people may show up and pick them off. This I agree with.

But if the point of Domination is to caputure and defend 2 flags, doesn't it make good sense to defend a flag or 2 (if you can simultaneously, such as on Hardhat)? And moreover, should a run-n-gunner complain if they are running to an objective recklessly and get killed for it?

If you get killed by a camper, you know where he is, you go back and kill him. If he moved, he wasnt camping. If you dont kill him when you go back to where he was,he's just better than you.You had an advantage.

Re: Run and Gun Cry Babies

"moving" doesn't absolve someone from being a camper.

if you sit in a corner or behind cover waiting, kill someone then move across the room or road to another area of cover/corner and wait for them to come back, that is the definition of camping.

moving down roads and through buildings at a normal pace is "not camping"

"if you don't kill him when you go back"

having a huge tactical advantage by sitting in a corner doesn't make someone better, it actually makes them much worse which is why their play style requires them to have said tactical advantage to kill you.
