I won a Elite Event IPad2 16G

I just won the Free For All COD Elite Event and as soon as it ended it said "Ended" Minutes later after I was screaming. It said it was Cancled due to technical difficulties. Do I still win my IPAD2? I will be really upset to find out that I didn't win because you decided to cancel it minutes after results were posted. Please respond.. I'm shaking because I really want my prize that I earned. 3 hours..

    you dont get ur prize sorry man thats is harsh that they did that really stupid too but then again i won a prize like 5 weeks ago now still no word about it elite prize people are just really stupid

    So... we paid £50 for what? No Clan Ops, constant cancelations on competitions, and awful maps (DLC) and then an even worse combat record than black ops? Well done Activision you really fooled us didn't you, well I hope no-one buys into this "Elite 2.0" crap... because if you do, and the same thing happens again, you have no right to complain.

      Wow I checked right after and saw that you had won, almost doubling my kills haha. And I was 100something place. That was my second event played, I hadn't done one since before December because of all the problems going on with Elite. I just didn't trust them anymore.

       

      With all the recent posts from Beachhead and Elite_help I thought maybe they had some things under control, so maybe I would try again. Apparently not though.

       

      All I can say is hopefully this doesn't screw you out of your prize because those totals are unreal. My "gold badge" or whatever they call it is showing in the showcase from that event still, so maybe they will still award your prize.

      Yeah yager, I feel you. I busted ass to get 3rd place so I know you are right there with me. If I had gotten 1st and then find out they cancelled, I'd  be ready to choke a kitten. They won't answer us. Elite was a waste of money and we got suckered

    Probably got canceled cause someone at beachhead needed an iPad as a gift or something... Maybe they got some extra keychains or water bottles. Still no word on who won the jeep....

      i can tell you from experience with winning elite competitions that it takes the prize support staff that you emailed atleast 24 hours to 48 hours to reply.. however, they will reply..  i believe it has to be Mon-Fri.. so you should have a reply from them on Monday..

       

       

      You should get the prize regardless of the even being cancelled.. you won the event, if you didnt cheat, and if you met the requirements from a valid country for prizes etc, then you should get the prize that you won... even if the event was cancelled.. i hope you took a screen shot of the page that said you won... if not, you may not get anything..  i had to provide proof of my winnings, and i always take screenshots of the leaderboards after the event ends.. just in case

    I dont think Yager won a legit way by jumping lobbys which is bull**** why dont you people stay in the same lobby like everyone else does. I hope they change it to where you can't jump lobbys over and over. And if you do you get banned from lobbys for 5-10mins during the operation. Be legit and stop using loop holes kids. I personally won almost every game except 2 with as you know 30kills a game in the same lobby, you on the other hand hardly even won a match I looked at your matches you lobby jumped. So us legit players get F-ed because of people like yourself. I personally hope you don't get it and they give it to someone that doesn't lobby jump. 900+ kills in 3hrs is almost 5 kills a min I call BULL!!

        I looked at your ELITE recent games right after the operation and you hardly even won...25-10, 6-3, 23-10, 16-6, 28-8......you lobby jumped simple as that, you have to use loop holes in the game to win...You can't be legit. Oh and yeah lets see this video put it on youtube. Anybody with any brains will know that you would need over 5 kills a min for every 190minutes of the operation without lobby time to get 900+ kills in 3 hrs it's IMPOSSIBLE unless you have friends in the match or you lobby jumped over and over again.

          Yeah and Elite doesn't count all your kills I only lost 4 times -.- Idiot it's not impossible.. Why do you think the opperation was cancelled after the winner was announced because the system glitch. If they had knew before hand and cancelled before the deadline or when it even started I would understand. But. They didn't they cancelled the opperation 4-5 min after they realize something wasn't right. But. Since they haven't fixed it. It's their fault. They can't just keep the prize because of that. It's either they fix it and get all the kills counted or to simply accept the fact that the system glitched and messed up and they have to give the prize to the champion after being evaulated.

            So the prize team told me to contact Activision Support because a IPad2 wasn't considered a "Physical" Prize. Now I'm stuck. Then Support tells me there is nothing they can do. So they told me to go back to prize team....?

              I got an email from their support team after complaining.

               

              Thank you for contacting Activision Customer Support. From time to time it may be necessary to take down an Event or Operation due to technical difficulties. In these cases the Event or Operation will be reposted once the issue has been resolved.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

      beachead thats some fraud **** yall pulling on elite i hope yall get suided!!! clan operations aint out, cod copied in pasted a building n2 mw3 that was in cod4, copied pasted a crain 4m mw2, barly nething new in mw3, servers stay crashing, been playing cod since cod 4 but i cant wait till something better then cod comes out bc cod is some scam artists. and BO had way better features then elite. u get banned 4 token glitches, yall dont know how to balence the game yall split up ghost 4m BO n2 blind eye in asassin but asassin is like 3 perks by its self you no the perks overpowered when 50% ppl play it, in don't even get me started on the guns, yall rush the game production in this the shyt we get, cod went str8 down hill

      @ beachhead.  so how about you admit that we got suckered into buying elite? because you know we did. false advertising....telling someone you will win prizes by paying a fee for membership and not handing out prizes. btw... that operation you told everyone to re enlist in just got taken down too. you guys really blow. mw3 blows. elite blows. the new treyarch blows. you have a lot of pissed off elite members and you're not doing anything about it..or at least not updating us on anything. stop giving us bs answers. fix the tourneys or give us our money back.

    So I'm basically not getting it. Thanks! That's exactly like saying someone in the Olympics and wins the 100 M Dash after they win. The oylimpic cooperation cancels the event and says sorry no medal for you we rescheduled your event tomorrow. You can try again to get first. All I can say is wow.

      Hmm, this isn´t right.

      I don´t think that this "poor" little company isn´t able to offord this money.

      It´s a big bad joke for real. I´m still one of the few that dont complain how bad the game is but this is rediculous! What are we a bunch of little 8 year old kids? You can´t do that.

      If someone cheated ok, then the second should get the price PLUS the chance to redo the competition for everyone.

      It´s not that this little company couldn´t offord it...

      Man, that sucks. I may have missed out on a mousepad last night, based on past competitions, and am pissed off about that... I can't imagine this.

    I don't understand why they make me redo a opperation and try to get 1st again. This is fraud. I have so much proof and this is considered fraud. You just can't cancel the opperation after and tell me to try again even though the opperation ended.. -.-

    You admittedly took advantage of a loophole to pull off a dishonest win over everyone who competed legitimately.

     

    And the usual argument from your crowd is that "if they didn't fix it so I wasn't able to do this, I can take advantage of it."

     

    Well, I'd say a counter argument is "if they didn't say that shady winners would still get the prize, that doesn't guarantee them a prize."

     

    This is called karma bro. It comes around.

     

    Someone who actually deserves the prize will actually win it.

      HAHAHAH Funny thing is that lobby jumping has its risk. Joining games that are about to end or simply getting big maps. UMAD? That you will never win? Funny thing is my W/L Ratio is 5.00 I win all my games even joining them late. It's not cheating it just means you suck and I'm good.

    Jumping lobbies isn't cheating. It's strategy. You do whatever you can to get as many kills as you can without cheating. How is getting out of a lobby and getting into a new lobby cheating? It's not a glitch, not a hack, not unfair. Anyone can do it. And if you want to win you should do it too.
