Just a thought before you post a video. (EDIT)

If you are planning on posting a video of gameplay on the forums there are a few things I would like for you to think of.
THE GAME MODE - Depending on the game mode make sure you are playing the objective and doing what is best to help your team win. (ex. not kill whoring in objective modes) If you still fill the need to post a video be prepared for criticism.
COMMENTS - If someone who comments doesn't like your gameplay don't take it as a personal attack on our gameplay take it as a suggestion on how to improve. Try to be nice to anyone commenting to avoid drawn out and pointless arguments.
REMEMBER WHY YOU ARE POSTING - If you are posting to try to show off how "pro" or "good" you are and people aren't impressed you can't get mad. If you are posting asking for help then make sure you take that help.
Those are some of the main things I see important. If anyone thinks something should be added feel free to comment and I will edit.
Indeed, and know that credit will come where credit is due...
What if said person prefaces his or her comment by saying "This is a personal attack"?
in that case then its fine to argue
I agree, but to be honest IMO it seems that (and by all means correct me if I'm wrong) If the first guideline isnt followed then majority of the criticism is usually negative, and sometimes it actually is a direct insult to the player and their play stylele

That is the chances you take by posting your video here. Wiggy posts videos only as a reference for the conversation he's having at the time, never once has Wiggy posted a video here just for promotions sake. People see right through that kind of thing. If it's self promotion the person is looking for, that's usually the time people begin picking it apart. If it's for reference, to make a point for example, people focus on the topic. Just Wiggy's take.
OP agree add "stick to CoC" and its there Yogi Bear!
I am actually thinking of uploading a video of gameplay to post here for the sheer reason I want expert insight and tips. My gameplay would probably seem horrifying to most, if not all of the members here and any kind of insight would likely go a long way.
Even if I was an "elite" player (no pun intended), I'd be happy to have people point out things I miss or might be doing wrong. That's just me.

this is the type of thinking that would be successful in posting a video here, "beast" gameplay never trumps content, Wiggy would much rather listen to an interesting commentator than a 70-0 Double MOAB any day.
I'd much rather see a video I could potentially offer some insight or suggestions towards.
bump because of edit
