after waiting for a snipable map for way to long, just to get all my sniper atatchments, i just started semi quickscoping. i pull up quick with quikdraw, then stay zoomed, unlike the people who just do the zoom in and out thing for every kill, and i dont think that is as effecive as my way!? anyways, that's only somehing ill do for a few more days at best.

Bakkara, Mission, Lockdown, Seatown, Outpost and Overwatch are great for sniping

Must admit I have no time for quickscoping in this game. It was always going to be added as Infinity Ward wanted a game to please everyone. Blops on the other hand made it diffucult to quickscope so when I was nailed by a quickscoper it was a rarity plus I had respect for those guys. I'm not against sniping and really enjoy it on some specific maps, I just find it boring as hell getting one shot killed at close range by players who aren't even aiming at me. Makes the game a bit of a joke. Saying that though I've never seen Activision describe call of duty as a realistic modern warfare simulator so why shouldn't players be able to quickscope, snipe across the maps with smgs, release the power of a small nuclear plant with dead mans hands, become immune to death in second chance etc etc etc We all knew this game before we purchased it, Christ we played it a few years back.

See, these are the type of posts I hate. This guy says irt takes no skill or accuracy and it's just luck, but he finishes by saying it's an easy kill. Make up your mind kid
I hate trickshotters, and to be honest I don't see many people doing much of that anymore. But saying quickscoping takes no skill is just crazy. I basically only snipe in this game, and playing on a high sensetivity with good accuracy is NOT just luck. Tell me how quickscoping is pure luck but there's people out there (like myself) that hit nine out of ten of their quickscopes?
Bleh, whatever. I'm out.

I don't think QSing takes NO skill, but I also believe that it takes a lot less than what I see people say ("hours/weeks of practice"). I mean, if I, someone who doesn't condone or practice QSing, and who's sniper class is the least used of them all, can then use that class or pick up a dropped sniper rifle off the ground, and then consistently QS with it a bunch of times, how much skill does it really take?
Basically, I think both sides exaggerate quite a bit.

the only thing that is annoying about QS is the fact that you dont have to directly hit the target, this can be seen on the the kill screen. one final kill screen i seen was QS'er with his gun still pointing to the left of the screen as it is when not being aimed or fired and he was firing off shots with his crosshair not even on the target. if the game developers insist on including QS then clean it up so that the QSer isnt potshotting a target that is the size of a car and then lets see how good a QSer really is.

Lock on system? are you serious? So what you are saying is that someone who uses a sniper to QS will always beat a none QSer no matter what gun they use! Try that for logic.

As much as I hate getting quickscoped, I have to say that you are completely off base.
I think YouTube is what has ruined CoD. Because YouTube has given rise to to trickshotting. The guys that climb up to some high vantage point, put down a tac and spend the entire match going for that sick 360 no scope to add to their montage so they can get famous on YouTube is whats ruined this game.
Quickscoping itself isn't the issue, its the majority of people who choose to quickscope that is the problem. The people who use quickscoping as a tool to be a successful sniper are just good players, and you have to tip your cap to them for killing you. The people who ignore the objective, and go for that sick clip while going 1-30 in a game of Domination are the ones that cause the problem.
