I am new to the community and yes there are some problems with the game.
The gaming industry can’t suit everybody’s needs and desire.
People have been complaining about games since the release of PONG!
All I hear is I paid 60 dollars for the game, I pay for my internet, This gun is this, this gun is that.
How much time have you spent playing the game that you despise so much.
And I doubt very much you only use your internet for the sole purpose of mw3.
Now it’s been 6 months since the release date, 60 dollars for 6 months. 10$ a month .
What other activity can you do for 10$ a month in which you can talk to your friends have laughter, talk trash, no where . 60$ at a bar will not get your far, what other 6 month activity can you do for 60$
No matter the game there is always going to be complaints, Pong, Mario, Cod, Bf.
Instead of playing Mw3 why don’t you go to your local pawn shop and by a atari and see how bad gaming really was. Or Go buy a Nintendo and put in that game cartridge that may or may not work.
People of this generation feel the need to complain and feel that they are owed something.
Mw3 is a GAME nothing more, your Game k/d does not reflect real life.
If you do not enjoy the game, why put it back in the system, I know why because after you are done with your complaining your real life senses come to play and you realize it’s just a game.
Very very good post! When I began posting on this thread I was of similar mind, its only game why all the complaints? I feel this game is a complex, enjoyable piece of entertainment that I use to compliment my other activities. Great to have more view this game as what it is a game! I will say this though, games use to cost me between 14-25 dollars, now its risen to 60!, its a program written on a disk painted to please. Games cost to much!
well good thoughts please dont slam Atari I still have mine and my son wants me to break it out and play that with me over his 360. even though its red blocks and blue blocks the games did work and were and still are fun.
and pong still has better hit detection LOL.
not knocking it, had mine till about a year ago. Some nights it was a shot of rum per point great game of pong. lol
yea but it's not going to get cheaper with the cost of living going up and the money hungry Ceo's who care more about there retirement fund than the avg joe.
In another 10 to 15 yrs I can see games being in the 80 to 100 range.
I'll bite and play devil's advocate. I'm also older, likely outside of the generation of entitlement you reference in your post.
I'll use a car analogy. This game, being a top seller and record setter in its industry could be compared to a high performance car, say a Ferrari. Now I buy that Ferrari and take it home. Ferrari tells me there may be some occasions where I may have to take it in for some engine mods, or 'updates.' The first mod comes back and my Ferrari runs a little more smoothly, I'm a little happier with the car and look forward to the next mod. As the updates come in and I have my Ferrari worked on it seems to progressively get worse and my questions to the company go unanswered. All I want is the car that I had paid for but instead I might as well be driving a Mustang. Is it still fun to drive? Yeah, sure; but it isn't the car I expected, it isn't living up to it's potential, and the company seems to ignore the questions of anyone who purchased this high-performance machine.
We bought MW3, but they gave us Pong. And yes, even so, I will continue to play.
How can a game of this magnitude satisfy everybody, It cant
No matter what is done, there will always be complaints.
I think the big problem in this game is that people expected too much, wanted too much.
to many things to try suit everybody, that in turn damaged the game more than anything.
Can you actually see what the game would be like if the community built it. there would more chaos.
Yes like any other game some things can be improved, but for a title like this it's not that easy.
If 30 000 000 people had a ferrari do you think, all 30 000 000 would be sastified or would there be 1 to 3 million that constantly complain about it. And in turn flood the network with it.
CoD shouldn't satisfy everyone. It should stick to what it does best and let the audience find them. The more flamboyant they try to make it to appease a larger crowd the worse this game is going to function and the less room for error they'll open themselves too
"If you build it they will come"
never thought I would see a " Field of Dreams" quote in a mw3 lobby.
Nice.
I've quoted this a few times on here. I believe this to be a great business model. If you focus on doing what you do and do it right you'll find success.
Selling out your product to appeal to a mass population will only cause frustration and a splitting of your fan base which is the stage CoD is at right now
I think its normal we want MW3 to be better. Complaints are often posted because of something that was 'unfair' on his/her eyes and therefore should be removed. For instance, I dislike the Type 95 because its a one shot kill, and then there's people that get kills with steady aim. you remove that con it has (the slow ADSing) because you can hipfire up close. Anyway, I get killed three times by this and I post about it. That's how it works.
I understand, but think about this if everything that people complained about was removed what gun what perk would you use.
the only thing that would remain is 1 gun 1 grenade and 2 maps 1 with full of obsruction corners and such, and one with nothing at all just wide open maybee a tree or two.
Would you still play the game if that was the case.
Dude its as you say "you can't, will not please everyone" Nothing is ever perfect, no game, no situation. If the person who bought MW3 has serious issue with it, sell it! And do not buy the next game.
that's the thing they have issues with it, complain about it and then go back and play it again. lol
It's a never ending circle.
I'm going to agree, with the posts. If you don't like it DON'T paly it.

I am gonna explain this simply. I paid $150AU for the Hardened Edition of MW3 (Australia has games about double the price of the US). After purchasing a game in which I though I would enjoy as I have enjoyed previously in the past, certain issues arose such as lag compensation becoming an issue since I upgraded to cable from ADSL2+ (cable is faster & steadier).
Now the product has become less enjoyable but there are still some things I enjoy about the game but I had already depleted the majority of the unaffected gameplay that I bought the game for. It is not the actual game that alot of people are complaining about but rather the vast difference they are seeing in the gameplay from the previous COD titles.
There's some truth in this post, but c'mon there's a big difference between some bugs and malfunctioning.
These days there's more attention for gaining money then improve quality in business and I'm not only talking about the gaming industry, you notice this everywhere.
I agree, I think people just feel that COD could easily be better than it is (which is amazing). Not regarding things like what perks should be in the game, that's a hindsight thing, but for things like lag and spawning. I certainly get annoyed beacuse in previous CODs they did it correctly.
the lag and spawning was a issue in every game,
People just forget.
