Low visabilty search and destroy maps

Posted by zombies4lyfe on May 5, 2012 6:48 PM

now i know that alot of people like snd, who doesnt, that fact you can see your teammates when you die  gives this game mode more suspence. also 1 life! that makes things feel a little more real, which is of course why you get 500 pts a kill. but aside from that, onto my point of this thread, i would like to see low visabilty maps with maybe some snow or intense rain to blurr the player away from view, giving them more time and ninja like skills to plant that bomb and hide. maps with visability of somthing like "call of the dead" zombies, when the storm comes. tell me what you guys think of this, i certianly would love to see this for a more professional game mode.

I would like to see them take it even a step further. I'd like to see them update the engine so the conditions change in every game mode on every map. Instead of just having day or night maps, or snow maps... imagine if the conditions were different every time you played a map. It could be day or night, it could be raining or bright sunlight, could be foggy or windy. Every match would be different because you never knew what you were going to face. I think it would keep the game fresh and yes, increase the intensity of objective games like SnD.

I'd also like to see changing objectives and spawn points. Imagine if the bombs weren't always in the same spot in SnD, the flags in different locales in Dom. If you never knew where  you were going to spawn to begin a TDM match, or if the Flag in CTF was located in different areas from match to match. To me, thats the next step for taking some of the predictability out of CoD and making it fresh again.

that is a very good idea, it gives the non clan member more of a chance, yes i do sometimes have 5 friends and spawn trap, but being on the opposite end sucks, so this would totally change the spawn trap factor a bit

it would also help with camping, each camping spot would be more or less effictive and if each round in search the spots changed, that would be sick, same with CTF and demolition

Yea that would definitely change the dynamic of the game and breathe in fresh air. I loved that GoW did it with their maps because i made the gameplay more hectic and force the player to make new strategies. That combined with different objective spawns kinda like HQ(Just not as predictable) could save CoD from its impending doom
