When it comes to TDM, or FFA moabs are fine, when it comes to objective game modes I would rather watch someone go 50-20 with 5+ caps and lots of defends than watching someone go 90-2 while nowhere near the objective.

Ill give you an example I just played a game of dom on Bootleg had 4+ caps along with 18 defends I was all over the map while finishing 41-17 with 4620 points That game would get passed over on youtube in a hurry but in reality it is a great example of how to play dom and win.

Helpful tutorials are always nice, but there is so much that has already been covered it is hard to find something unique.

I'd like to see some competitive games. I don't enjoy watching someone beat bad players. Any gametype is fine though I find FFA to be the least enjoyable to watch.

I'd rather see you go 20-15 against good players than see 50-1 on players who can't even aim.

Gameplays that talk about tactics for whatever mode you are in (game-mode, a paritcular map, gun type, etc.)

I may watch some for general "wow, that was cool" factor now and then (probably not very frequently), but if I'm going to subscribe to someone's channel, I would want to get something out of watching that I could try to apply to my game.

Hate to say it but none. I do not go to YT to watch video game replays unless its for rpg games. I feel fps game replays that are not related to the sp are pretty much useless and a waste of time.

So yeah if its MP, not worth the time to give a thumbs down espeically if its a moab, qs or any other game play similar.

Why don't you just post videos on how to cheat the game?  Thats what all these kids are trying to learn how to do these days.

I played my last game of CTF.  I thought it was a pretty fun gametype, until I got spawn trapped.

Just make honest commentary videos when BO2 comes out, and then revert back to cheapness.

But I would like to see a legit MOAB on TDM.  Not against nubs though.  I have never seen a MOAB against me or pulled one off.

I just like to watch a good gameplay with NO rap music in the background, NO little kiddies swearing because they think its cool and I HATE over edited videos.  I like straight, raw gameplay.

I really only watch good tdm or dom videos when I'm board, that's about it, oh and I like watching good tip videos.  Though it doesn't really matter with this game since it's so inconsistant most of the time, but it doesn't hurt either.  Oh, I don't care about moabs either.

Ones that arent spammed on here. Its fine and all that you're starting a youtube channel, just dont go around spamming youtube videos left and right on here, okay? (coughcough jakerad coughcough)

K here goes, I love QUALITY tip videos from great players.  Beast gameplay is great, but I really am tiring of the ones where the guy has a full party running Support, ballistics vests all over the map and a constant UAV, against crappy players.  It was cool the first time seeing a triple or quad MOAB under these circumstances just to see it, now it's becoming annoying...because the average joe such as myself doesn't have that at my disposal so what can I really learn.

I will watch someone who is not a beast player if they have great commentaries or are just entertaining to watch.  El Presador is a great example, terrible player and still watch his vids more than almost any other gaming channel - he is fun to listen to, he rages in an entertaining way, he trolls, etc.  If you're not good, stand out in some other way.

People above said they'd want to see a guy who played the objective hard and didn't care about his KD.  I can tell you that guy, unless amazing in some other way (commentary, etc) is not going to get any views bc people aren't interested in that.

Or even playing against great players...noone wants to see watch someone go 25-20 or some normal score...the only way vs good players works is if it's other big youtube names, I think that could be fun....6v6 games with all big youtubers on the teams.

Would you guys say you only like videos with commentary over them? I have got some pretty entertaining gameplay videos, but I hadn't done any voice over them. That seems to be the only thing people like, even if the actual gameplay isn't that spectacular.

People have short attention spans, watching the video alone is kind of dull/boring, the commentary adds an extra dimension that adds to the entertainment value & makes you not notice the slow/boring portions of gameplay bc you're distracted by the commentary.

But no commentary at all is better than music IMO.  Music taste is so subjective, you may love metal but I hate it and don't want to hear it over anything.

Its all about the things other people arent doing. Tutlorials are cool if they seem serious. See matador.  But the ones I enjoy are things you dont see everyday. Not the QSing montages or ACR MOABS in Domination where the guy doesnt play the objective.

I like the guy that makes a video of all his bank knife shots, the multi C4s, trapping guys in corners with riot shields, ninja defuses are ehhh. A simple video of a trash talker getting his rear handed to him is interesting enough.

Cool, I'll try to put this to work. I was planning on avoiding the typical boring dom videos anyway, I like TDM more. I posted some ffa gunplay ones previously, which I thought was different enough, but  then again it was just gameplay so maybe it was boring. Even though I thought it was intense haha. =)

The ones I enjoy the most are recorded while being played actively. I don't really want to watch something that a person recorded, rewatched god knows how many times, writes some long winded ben stein speech, and then talks boringly over it. Primeordial, I think I spelled it wrong lol, has one of my most favorite videos. He is actively playing and talking over the game at the same time. You can feel the emotion and intensity of the match as he is trying to cap flags, responses of teammates, etc. I was on the edge of my seat watching his gameplay b/c it actually felt like I was in the game from my office desk lol. The suspense of would he get the flag cap and anxiety you feel as you wonder which corner your attacker may come from while you are capping a flag. TK kills and excellent gunplay are a huge bonus imo.

I don't really care so much for tutorials as the gameplay should be tutorial enough. Watching the movements, scoping, strafing, etc. should all give you enough information about how to improve. So let the commentary be light and fun, intense and exciting. Nothing puts me to sleep faster than some nerd-speak about pellet damage and x amount of meters blah blah blah.

P.S.- The only thing I don't like about your Vids and commentary UW, you try to straddle the fence. You seem to be ok with everything and everyone. The best commentators in anything have an opinion, that's what makes them worth watching. Not the "everyone is good and all things are ok" type of attitude. What does the Untouchable Wolf like or dislike? What makes you worthy to be a personality to watch? Sure when you pick a side you may offend one person here or there, but no omelletes are made w/o breaking some eggs.

P.P.S.- What recommendations would you have for someone that may want to become a commentator and is just starting out? I thought about doing it myself a time or two lol

Honestly, Wolf, The only time I really watch YouTube gameplays are if I find the commentator informative or entertaining. If I want to watch gameplay, I will play the game, otherwise there has to be a reason why I watch. Two guys I watch regularly are WickedShrapnel and WoodysGamerTag. Wicked found his niche and made interesting series, but has done it in his own unique manner and with his unusual sense of humor. His commentaries always seem so natural and effortless, and I find them entertaining. Woody is much the same. He avoids trolling or being nasty, like you, but he takes a stand for the things he believes in and does what he can to help. I don't enjoy all of his series, but he has diversified his portfolio so to speak, offering a little of something for everyone. He varies his gameplay between gametypes, uses different weapons, and doesn't always make the gameplay the focus of his vids.

Another guy I have come to respect because of the forums is YTMatador. Beyond his uber-cool accent, his videos are always well researched  and thought out. He wastes no moment in his videos, which are usually packed with information.

Seems to me, Wolf, the best way to be successful is to be yourself and carve a niche for yourself. You can't throw a nade without hitting a dozen CoD channels these days, so if you want to make a go of this thing you have to do something to stand out. Its an over-saturated market at this point, as it seems nearly half the CoD population does commentaries.

What you have going for you is your maturity. You are a heck of a nice guy, intelligent, and treat people with great respect, which is why I respect you as a commentator. You take both good and bad feedback in stride. Don't lose that, but as someone else pointed out, don't be afraid to take a stand or express an opinion. You can defend your stance in a cool, rational way without resorting to childish name-calling or starting flame wars. You will notice that the most popular threads on here are the somewhat controversial ones, the ones in which people can argue back and forth and express their feelings about an issue.

Just be yourself, have fun, and look for a way to make your niche. Gameplays are a dime a dozen, but YOU are what will sell your channel.
