This is a very funny thing to do and also gets you a game quicker...

If you play in a clan of 6, all the time me and the boys struggle to find games with all of using the gold Elite clan tag, honestly some times it can take 10 minutes or so to find a game due to people backing out the lobby when they see we all play together so tonight we tried something a little different, we all changed to random tags, 2 seconds before game starts we switched to Elite clan tags so they only have enough time to see us change but not back out, when the maps loading all you hear is, oh no, wtf, full clan then 2 or 3 will back out at start of the game, basically if if your struggling to get a game while clanned up try this, its hilarious.
That would work for us if they didn't always check our K/Ds and W/Ls.
We play HC DOM so I don't think people can check those stats before the game.
We usually do that during clan ops. Although we don't usaully put our clan tags and titles back on unless there is a lot of trash talking coming from the other team.
I play mostly with clan guys, probably 4 out of full 6 party on average.
We never fly the clan tag as it does indeed tend to cause lots of back-outs.
That and the various prestige levels (I'm an 8 and usually one of the lower ones..)... it's not a good combo.
God forbid they ever do the whole leaderboard > sort on lobby > sort on score, wins, kills, etc.
"Holy sh*t! they got two guys in top 300 in the world in Kills? Buh-bye!"
Yeah, kinda makes it hard to get a game.
We did do the "reveal the clan" thing last night.. .but it was in response to a few clan guys on the other squad hacking on one of our clan members who WAS flying his colors.
And then we wiped the floor with them.
Ah... good times... good times...
Are you being modest when you say we have 2 guys in the top 300 for kills, c'mon just tell us, are you one of them? lol.

100% back out if I see one. Not wishing to make excuses but I play HC Dom and there is NO way i'll ever win or even move with 5 randoms against 6 in a party - most of the time. I sometimes stick around, sometimes they are terrible players and I rinse them for all the kills in the world, but they still win because they have stealth and EMP. So why stay?
If you're 300 in the world for kills I couldnt give a crap, just a measurement of time played or spawn traps not absolute skill. Either way in HC theres a good chance i'll still kill you like for like unless your the god of COD. But in HC i'll prob drop you across the map with a Deagle. ![]()
Me and my brother played against 5 of our clan tonight with random's because there was no space as I was the last on and he was the only player willing to join me against them but we won 200-199 on resistance and I got 50 odd kills and only a handful of deaths, heavy tryhard mode and would up my game against any full clan but would never back down just because we are playing against 6, hence my avatar motto, never back down.
Its not because of gun skill I leave on HC. Literally you know them which helps, but mostly when you hit a clan of 6 on HC Dom its ******* Rockets/Nades/Tubes and support streaks the whole game X6 people which I just hate. I leave before it starts, I see nothing wrong with that given the quality of players you get given who don't kill/defend or cap. Even at least one extra player helps tbh. HC Dom is slowly becoming a bit **** if you ask me, insane spam of explosives and poor spawns.
Yeah that's true, if its not noobs its camping but saw a whole other side of my clan tonight, for most of the game they were all on last stand and were reduced to camping flags, something that doesn't happen when me and my bro are teamed up with them.
Its just the spam of explosives, that and if its just me then I can't hold down two flags. The amount of times i'm just smashing folks just to have them spawn back repeatedly and hit me with SMAW... Which the radius of damage is just way to big in HC.
Oh yeah and after the second game on mission that they won by a few points they refused to play against us so I had to leave to stop there (honestly don't know what version of there to use for this so hope I used the right one) greetin ![]()
"just a measurement of time played or spawn traps".....I beg to differ...i know plenty of people who have played 25+ days and are no where near 300 dont spawn trap...nice assumption tho
Oh god, no! Not even that close. Or that good.
I am top 9,000 in Wins and Score though.
Proof that even a blind squirrel will find a nut if he keeps looking long enough.
On the flip side of that, when my old clan used to go pub stomping during the Unreal Tournament '99 days, we'd actually split our clan into two teams so the randoms felt like it was going to be a game and not a wash. Wayyy more fun talking trash to teammates that we knew weren't going to take it personally. And it forced us to get better. Pubbing split clan was better for just about everyone. Clan improved offense / defense against ourselves and the randoms got a game worth staying for. We even picked up a few members this way.
Consider the option to be more sporting, I guess is what I am saying.
Never understood why anyone would kill a clan mate, or play against them...
I can't bring myself to do it in a pub match...
Jeezo its only a game, you shouldn't take it so seriously.
J is for Jason not Jeezo, but that's cool...
I'm not what you would call a serious player mate. I just feel really awkward about knocking a friend off a streak or, having a negative affect on a clan mates stats...
Imagine the bad feelings if I shoot down all of my friends air support and or cause them to lose a match. I know if anyone on my FL joins against me and kills me or sweats it to WIN, I get pretty crabby about it...
If that is serious, then I'm guilty,..
One of our clan rules is to not play against each other. Mainly because we don't want people to report us for boosting. I've even forbidden people from using the join session in progress function for fear they would get on the other team. I don't want to risk people getting reset. I'd rather they send somebody in the party playing a message and then wait for them to finish, back out, and pick them up. Also, I would think playing against each other would affect the clan's k/d.
Just because people report you for boosting does not mean you will be banned, the game has to be reviewed before any decision is made.
I know but I'd rather not risk it in the first place.
Yeah that's understandable, better safe than sorry.
That's a healthy way to do things I think. In my old can there was a no kill policy too. I liked that...
Heck, I don't even like it when people on my friends list spawn into lobbies where I am to battle me... in try-hard mode! Completle ignore objective, just whore out kills.
There's one guy that runs with a bunch of guys I know that's infamous for doing this.
I'm about done with him, I can feel a friends list delete coming.
But the problem is he'll just keep spawning into my games anyways, as he plays with/against many of my regulars.
I mean... get a life! Go play against randoms. Don't F with my game, especially since you know our tactics/spots, etc.
Maybe you guys only play with internet friends or something but me and all my clan grew up together and love competing against each other, we do it in everything, 5 aside football, fifa, go karting or whatever else were doing mind you I kind of get where you's are coming from, some people just cant stand a friend being better than them and are afraid that they may be seen as the weakest link.
I only know a few people on my list "in the real world" and only one of them goes against me every now and then.
Hey, it's fun every now and then, but every freaking time you're on?
I actually had my longest win streak stopped when playing against two people on my friends list. Now, a 222 game win streak is bound to end at any point... but why did you have to be the one that helped end it? That's kinda not right. They didn't really actually do much in the game, but they did more than a couple of randoms probably would have.
That shouldn't bother me, but it does a little.
I wouldn't do that to somebody, so I just guess I expect the same in return.
Silly me.
It is only a game, man up, take your loss, have a laugh and get on with it, you actually sound like a little girl with that comment, if you and your clan cant beat one guy playing with random's then its your fault, not his.
I say it bothers me a little bit because it's not something I would do to someone else (intentionally piss on their win streak) and that somehow makes me "sound like a little girl"?
WTF?
Are your man panties in a bunch tonight, causing you to act all Mr. Toughguy on the internets?
I take my losses as they come and I took that one, I NEVER dashboard (hate that). Just being honest that it bugged me a little bit that I lost a fairly epic win streak partially at the hands of someone on my friends list... had it been six guys I didn't know... it wouldn't have bothered me at all.
And it was the TWO of them (two very good players, btw, one is top 300 in the world in score) and four guys on a clan, so it wasn't like it was a cupcake match against six randoms.
You're more then welcome to play against me and my "clan" any time you like... careful though, this "little girl" just might end up stomping you.
All in good fun.
I see bigger cracks in your claims than the one down the back of my man panties, first off you say they didn't do anything to help the team, then you say they are both top 300 (my bad, one is) in the world for kills then you say you feel like deleting them, c'mon man, you dream about these guys and want to be them, if they were the two guys in the top 300 they would have helped the other team and you wouldn't want to delete any of them.
Dude, you need some reading comprehension lessons. I realize (realise?) I'm not using the Queens English for you, but you need to follow on.
One: The guy I'm considering deleting is the serial "join game" guy that goes against us just about every freaking time he's on. He's NOT one of the TWO guys (not "one" like your first reply... again, COMPREHENSION...) that I lost my 222 game win streak to.
Two: I didnt' say they didn't do "anything to thelp the team", I said they "They didn't really actually do much in the game, but they did more than a couple of randoms probably would have." I.e. they didn't place 1-2 in score and were at 2+ K/D like they usually are. But they did enough, much more than two random average guys.
Three: I don't "dream about these guys and want to be them"... WTF with that? I merely gave you the credentials of people I lost the game as you somehow ASSumed it was against "one guy playing with randoms" in your initial Mr. Toughguy post. And it was top 300 for SCORE, not KILLS. Again, your raging testosterone must be getting in the way of your brain's ability to process... if you're going to reply, please be accurate. Although I do regularly play with two guys who are top 300 in KILLS. Do I appreciate their skill? Sure. Dream about them? Not quite. My dream hours are mostly spent focused on Salma Hayek and the like.
And lastly, I have my opinion about this and you have yours, mine doesn't make me any more super cool guy than yours does for you. Although clearly you think it does.
Once again... care to find out if I'm any good? Let me know.
Haha calling me Mr tough guy but you want to settle stuff like school children, next you'll be wanting a 1v1 quick scopez match, seriously bud, get over it and move on, I know I have.
Noes! 1v1... now!!! I will quicksopez u becuzz I'm 3lit3!
hahaha.
Yeah, no. Not going to happen. Despite the fact that you and your mates like to "settle stuff like school children" all the time, according to your post.
And hey, you get the Mr. Toughguy title because you're the one who whipped out the "little girl" rhetoric first. When you do that, you get that reply. I don't sit by and let people call me that without responding.
Just sayin.
Me and my friends play against each other at everything, really don't see how that is settling stuff like school children, its called friendly competition.
Hey, I was just looking for a little friendly competition too. Hence the "all in good fun" after I wrote" You're more then welcome to play against me and my "clan" any time you like... careful though, this "little girl" just might end up stomping you."
I would actually like to play with/against some of the regulars here. It would be interesting.
You, Cowboy, WKMS, CODChamp, etc.
I have removed several serial join and sweaters from my FL...
I enjoy playing against friends in Private matches, but in pubs I prefer to be shoulder to shoulder with friends, not toe to toe...
Not quite the 222, but I have been knocked off legit streaks by friends and it DOES cause bad feelings...
I'm that "anti air support guy" and I know from experience that my skills are not appreciated by the enemy at all. Why would I shoot down my friends Reaper and Pave that they are enjoying so much?
But all of that said, mmm mmmm Salma Hayek niiiiice...![]()
i love to play against a clan with a group of randoms, especially if we beat them, dont always happen as some team members tend to back out ,dont know why because clans i have played against are no better than most players, just have better communication. still its good fun, lol
Are clan also does this for the same reason.Almost make no chance to get a game while useing are clan tag even worst during clan op's.
We always do this.
You have to do this or you spend most of the time in the lobby as randoms continually drop out...
Hopefully when BO2 comes out which is stated to have clan only lobbies for clan matches this won't be necessary.
If all Elite clan ops have to be played in these lobbies there will be no reason not to have your clan tag on.....
This is a step closer to clan on clan action.....
I vill believe ven I see it.
Even if it does happen this game has so many "***** cats" about 95% of clans would play pretending to be random's just so they didn't have to face the challenge of a decent game.
THIS will defo be happening, many people only play in clans so they can bulldoze randoms and casuals and n00bs...
If there is a level playing field, then their clan advantage (crutch) has gone!!1!!
They won't be able to almost gaurantee a WIN any more, so yeah you are right they will still play the non clan lists together as a clan...
You can check any stats before any game
I see clans back-out all the time as well after checking stats or a beating. Let's get real here Needing a clan to beat randoms is the sad part. I don't mind playing clans (especially with my mate), as long as my team isn't full wih noobs aka split screeners / low levels.
