Issues with hosting Collection 1 Spec Ops and Survival content

I am experiencing an issue when trying to play Collection 1 Spec Ops maps with a friend. I get the message DLC10 is disabled! (as I don't have that map pack). This is all fair enough but I'm not trying to play DLC10 - I am hosting Black Ice from Collection 1. The same happens when trying to play a Collection 1 survival map yet I can play the map solo!

 

Some details:

 

  • I have Collection 1.
  • My friend has Collection 1 and 2.
  • We have both cleared our Xbox's cache and re-downloaded the DLC.
  • We have no issue playing Collection 1 multiplayer maps online.

 

Is there a solution to this issue?
