Black Ops II LEAKED info

Posted by CasinoJustin on Jun 27, 2012 11:36 AM

There has been some supposed leaked info that was posted today regarding a returning Multiplayer map. Now, you can't be 100% sure about any leaked info, but it does seem real. Nuketown will be returning to Black Ops II as a reward for pre-ordering the game. Very short article regarding the leak below.

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. Nothing was awesome about Nuketown after about a days worth of play. Only thing it was worth and used for is just an easy means for noob players to quickly boost stats due to the rapid frequency of acquiring kills. Then these said players move forward into the other maps with gold plated guns and lose miserably. I love this series but they gotta chill lol. I'd rather see a random old map from years years back than this one.

EXACTLY and what's funny is that when Black Ops FIRST was released Nuketown WAS A PRIVATE MATCH ONLY map then all of a sudden we saaw Nuketown 24/7 after that I was convinced that most people who 15th Prestiged weren't really real. I played that prestige all the way out on TDM and other modes besides that.

i wouldn't say that it's leaked considering that they advertized big and wide at a game store

    Firing Range > Nuketown.

Nuketown+Dome (In MW3) are the worst tiny maps of all the CoD games.

Nuke town was a nice simple map that made war. I liked the fact it was just straightforward. You always knew we're the enemy was and it was intense. I wouldn't play it 24/7 tho lol  but it was always a good action packed game.

    From IGN

" The image also calls Nuketown 2025 “the biggest incentive in Call of Duty history” and says it will be “driving pre-orders…and day one.”  "

    24hr Nuketown, day 1?

I am so sick of this map. HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT!!! So now Black Ops 2 will be plagued by everyone voting for this stupid little map and you will have to play it every other match (maybe a slight exageration). Super just super. I would have rather seen firing range.

    Mixed feelings about this.

First of all, not sure how its going to work... if only people who preorder it from GameStop get it day one... when does everyone else get it?

Secondly, I want NEW things. NEW ideas, NEW weapons, NEW maps. I know this is "re-envisioned" but still. Not a bad marketing ploy, but not something I am crazy about.

The original Nuketown was fun to a degree. If it was spammed it got old fast. The occasional game in there could be a great deal of fun with the right lobby, but I will never get how people did the 24/7 bit. I like a little variety, myself.

I think people are still jumping the gun. YES the materials look authentic. But, in this world anything can be faked. We know what the font style is they are using in advertisements and what the premise of the game is, so anyone could have made up those promotional posters and planted them on a shelf in a local Game store to drum up controversy and generate hits or get their "15 minutes" of internet fame and glory. Seems people are just accepting it and saying its a sure thing, but we've been fooled before.

The best point TMart brings up in the video on that link is that Gamestop did promise us 4 waves of PreOrder goodies, so it will be interesting to see if this is, in fact true, or just another fraud.

If its true, I hope its just an add on to a plethora of new maps.

I am not against it. I personally thought Black Ops did a great job on their maps. They mixed large maps with CQB environments, and I still find little details they put into each map when I play them now, even after all the time I put into the game when it was new.

I think Nuketown 2025 may not = Nuketown.

              From the poster:

"Relive the close quarters chaos of this classic fan-favorite map re-imagined in a visionary depiction of the “model home of the future.”"

Likely to be a bit different, which mught throw up so new angles for game play.

Bit like Facility (Golden Eye) and Felicity (Perfect Dark).

If this really is the next wave, I am slightly ticked. I mean, if it were really that big of a thing to get people to pre-order, then they should have announced it was coming back from the get go. This is rubbish; the third and fourth wave better be awesome.

So long as they have a true variety of maps - teeny-tiny AND small AND medium AND large [Seelow & then some large] that's fine by me.
