Mixed feelings about this.
First of all, not sure how its going to work... if only people who preorder it from GameStop get it day one... when does everyone else get it?
Secondly, I want NEW things. NEW ideas, NEW weapons, NEW maps. I know this is "re-envisioned" but still. Not a bad marketing ploy, but not something I am crazy about.
The original Nuketown was fun to a degree. If it was spammed it got old fast. The occasional game in there could be a great deal of fun with the right lobby, but I will never get how people did the 24/7 bit. I like a little variety, myself.
I think people are still jumping the gun. YES the materials look authentic. But, in this world anything can be faked. We know what the font style is they are using in advertisements and what the premise of the game is, so anyone could have made up those promotional posters and planted them on a shelf in a local Game store to drum up controversy and generate hits or get their "15 minutes" of internet fame and glory. Seems people are just accepting it and saying its a sure thing, but we've been fooled before.
The best point TMart brings up in the video on that link is that Gamestop did promise us 4 waves of PreOrder goodies, so it will be interesting to see if this is, in fact true, or just another fraud.
