If they let you create a map for Mw3 to release into a map pack, what would it be?
Here's mine:
Map name: Grassland
Map size: Large
Description:
Large open field with buildings and a huge amount of grass. Ghillie Suitsmake good cover for snipers. Has elements from the Call of Duty 4 map, Overgrown. Perfect for Domination.
Thread stealer.
Map name: Junkyard
Size: Medium/Large
I'd kind of set it up like Trailer Park in MW2. Kind of cluttered around objectives, but still plently of open areas for longer range weapons. I think the most frustrating things about the maps in MW3 is the amount of clutter, I'd like to also see a completely open map like Wasteland from MW2
How about one that does not lag
impossible
True but its nice to dream sometimes..haha
I prefer small maps
Map name: Mushroom village
In addition to the enemy team, there are small Smurfs running around trying to smurf you with smurf berry pies. 10pts for killing the Smurfs and 50pts for the enemy. Rushing is necessary on the small map, but smurfs are everywhere, posing a tripping hazard and leaving you vulnerable on the ground. Vibrant colors and rainbows are everywhere. The map will come with a disclaimer that it may cause seizures and hallucinations. The buildings, being mushrooms, do nothing to slow rounds, so killing through walls would be easier than ever.
While I realize this map would suck, I have been drinking and at the moment I want nothing more than to shoot a Smurf.
A multi-level building with access points on the outside such as rappel points, ledges, etc. A large library where rooms from one floor to the other are similar, but with a central hallway, two large open stairwells.
Australian Outback would be good
I've been saying to my friends for a few years now that I would like to have a building similar to a skyscraper with say about 10 floors. Each floor is not massive but big enough for 3 to 6 rooms on each floor depending on the size of each of those rooms with a different layout for each floor. Two stairways on each floor leading to those floors above and below but some of the stairs are destroyed or blocked and with some holes in some of the floors/ceiling and some debris or office furniture etc that you can use to climb up or down floors where the stairs are no longer an option.
Sounds like a campers wet dream.
Except I run and gun 90% of the time...
I would copy Crossfire out of COD4. BOOM game over
DETROIT... nuff said lol
Well I'd call it KOA CAMPGROUND! It would involve some tents. Just joking. I would like to see one like the DLC map from black ops called Zoo. I would add animals running loose attacking people as an added element or innocent bystanders on any map that you would have to avoid shooting or fisk losing points. I know stupid but different
.
I would remake the Cargo Ship on a rainy night with infra green goggles from COD 4 ![]()
As I mentioned in another post, MW3 is the first shooter (FP or otherwise) I've ever played/owned, so forgive me if the following is an idea that's already been used in any of the other COD games
Map Name - Rig
Map Size - medium
Description -
3-story offshore oil rig w/ both internal and external stairways. Moderately lit to eliminate totally dark corners, but not bright enough to eliminate some shadows. And no, you can't shoot out the lights!
Lowest level is heavy equip. storage (forklifts, etc) and repair - large, open bay area. Of course, on an oil rig, there will be explosive barrels throughout.
Weather - overcast
Keep your powder dry,
Wolf
was back playing cod4 and was in a hc tdm in bloc man thats a great map so i would go for a map like bloc
I love that map its mt favourite Cod4 map followed by crossfire ![]()
Same, maybe a slighlty more complex version of Bloc, the original was so atmospheric, a Classic
Mine would be a medium map with a hill (2 1/2 floors high) in the center were the B Dom Flag would be on top. I would have a few two story buildings in each spawn. A bunker under the hill with an entrance on each side of the map and two entrances on top of the hill (on opposite sides of the B Dom flag. Some foliage and sandbags on of the hill for cover as well. But not too much.
