My Final Stand with Final Stand

It's already annoying that you kill people and then they get a second life, and even more annoying while they go through the animation into final stand they are seemingly invincible and get to immediately use their primary weapon...but when I have to hit you with multiple bullets when you are in Final Stand, getting hitmarker after hitmarker, it makes me rage - thanks Infinity Ward
Before anyone says Theatre is not a 100% representation, the whole reason I went into Theatre is because during those moments in the actual game, I was screaming "I was hitting him"!!

I dont wanna sound like I'm defending Final Stand, but to be fair.
On the first one, you started hipfiring after you put him into Final Stand.
The second one was just Bull.
The invincibility frames have to be there or else they'd die from the fall (Vahn talked about it during Blops w/ second chance). They should just not let you have your primary until you finish the fall though.
like you said, if you're going to make them invincible, make them have a delay to the weapon, and really they should be able to use only their secondary IMO.
On the first clip if you watch closely, he goes into Final stand and I put 2 bullets into him ADS before I started hipfiring.

Final Stand/Last Stand just has to go. It has no place in this series anymore and its just a mess of a perk. It made sense in W@W, the animation was better and it was in no way overpowered(from my experience), and the only way someone in Last Stand could be revived was by another player running Last Stand.
Its a joke of a perk, and it needs to go.
This is how the death streak is meant to work. That moment of not being able to be killed allows the death streak to work. With out it the death streak would never work. So no they are not going to ever remove it.
So you basically need to slow down and pay more attention and the moment you see them change animation pause your shooting for about 1 second to 2 at most. And preferablly move out of their los if possible. If they die, fine move on toward next kill. If they do not then reengage and add another shot to kill them.
it is pretty simple to compensate for if people just stopped running around like adrenaline junkies all the time hunting the next red dot or the next kill.
They can still fire in the animation though.
yeah, that is the one and only one problem of it. it should make them put their weapon down while falling and let them raise it back up after they land on the ground. But I doubt IW will take the time to change that any time soon.
So basically players have to learn to pay attention to who drops in to it during a match and then change up how they play against them. For shotty players that means using a mp or pistol secondary if needed when coming across them and not tyring to rush up close. or they could use overkill and have to primarys, one being their shotty and other a smg or ar.
IW is not going to remove it from the game anytime soon no matter how many people complain about it.
I think that period of invincibility is horrible. As you can see in the video I posted, I dropped a predator in his lap and he crab walked away.
that would have pissed me off....also no reason I should be getting multiple hit markers on guys in Final Stand.
You can see in my vid they weren't even in the animation when I was hitting them.
For those of you who says IW won't do anything about it so it's useless to complain, it seems they heard the Dead Man's hand cries since they "nerfed" it by decreasing the blast radius so it only nukes half the map instead of the whole thing.
Its not even super rare honestly, I hit a guy again 2 days ago with a predator in FS and it did nothing. My buddy told me why he didnt die. Ive had at least 6 of these I can recall.
The DMH nerf was minor compared to the removal of not able to die when entering FS. that is something they will not remove.
Not even the devs of BO would remove that for the same reasons I stated before. IF it was removed it would make FS completely useless and that is not something they are doing to do.
The only thing that needs to be done is to pause their ability to shoot when entering and not allow it until they reach the ground. But with lag that causes problems where on one persons screen they may not be on the ground yet but on the other persons screen they may be on the ground.
so there is no simple fix for it really.
It is there to make sure he can go in to FS and not be killed while still dropping. They will not ever remove that just as Vahn would not remove it from SC in BO.
Man, If a predator hits you i dont care what DS youre using, you should die. I wont speculate if it wil ever be fixed cause it seems they pick and choose from a bingo wheel, but it should be, and can be fixed.
Sorry but no, when in the FS animations and not fully on the ground no weapon or ks should kill you ever otherwise the DS is just about useless.
I think the second vid especially proves the split second of invinciblity Final Stand provides.

I think you should only be allowed to use a pistol and nothing else and after say 40 seconds you die . Also the player putting the person on FS should get the kill not the person finishing him off . I'm sure I saw Candise tweeting that it was being changed?
If you died it would not be FS it would just be SC from BO. And IW and 3arc do not need to make their DS/Perks be the same and should not.
Well, maybe its just that I almost never get deathstreaks, ever.... but I had a FS the other day that was kinda funny with a striker/range from last stand.
Hahah I have such a bad habit of over firing at opponents because of being killed by last stand, that I empty my clip and then get shot while reloading.
