I've leveled a KSG 12 up to 30, so I honestly feel some of your shotgun pain, and I do feel they need to get rid of the inconsistency with damage, both up close and at range.
If I'm using a shotgun, especially a slow pump action, I feel that 9/10 times if we are at extreme close range, I should OHK you. This is currently not the case.
However, I was playing last night, and a guy with a Model 1887 was consistently OHKing me at a significant range.
Both of these problems are equally frustrating, and a common ground needs to be found.

Here is two vidoes of mine that I decided to post so people could see what I have been talking about all along. There is another up on yt of a private match as well. If you notice I had no problems getitng kills with both the spaz and the ksg unlike how others claim to have so many issues with them. This is pretty much how they always work for me when I use them.
My low kd with them is from dieng not because I fail to kill someone but from being shot in the back or the side by somoene I did not know was there too often. So I die more often when using them, so it negatively affects the kd of the weapon.

Thank you for showing us how the KSG should always perform. And your second video was in hardcore, I wouldn't expect many hitmarkers in HC either.

Spas was in hardcore so it will obviously get a lot of 1hk's.
Not going to lie, I do have some good games with the Spas but other times I'll just get hitmarker after hitmarker. One time I was playing Private match with a friend, he was standing STILL my aim was dead on and I got a hitmarker with Damage, explain that. And it happens often.
The KSG also has good games but it gets hitmarkers too. It's inconsistant. With the buff we only get more one hit kills at close range nothing else which makes the shotguns more fair. All the other guns have unlimited range and can kill you in a matter 3 bullets or less than a second if you use a Rapid Fire SMG.

Yeah, I noticed that as well.
The Spas-12 clip was definitely in HC due to the lack of a mini-map & XP not showing when getting kills & activating pointstreaks.

yes one was hardcore, where just about any weapon works well. The other was core and how that weapon always worked for me in core from day one. My low k/ds with them are from dieing too much using them not because they will not kill. I rush too much when using shotguns. I am not normally a rusher so do worse with them when I end up ruhing too much.
If you go find the private match it is in core, and how the usa12 always works for me even in matches.
I could post vidoes like this of every shotgun doing the same. Which is why I have always been saying it is the connection that needs to be fixed first and not the damage or range on them. so until that problem is taken care of buffing them could make them even more unbalanced for those on the lucky side will have OP weapons that kill at ranges beyond what a shotgun should even before using the range prof.
And both vidoes are of the shotgun as stock no nothing added to them but maybe a cammo.

I never hid it, just never had a reason to show it. I knew everyone would try and use the stats to try and say what I was saying was wrong with out really understanding how those stats are that way to begin with. I know how people obsess about stats in this franchise and think that the stats on elite prove something. when really all it proves is that I do not use shotguns that often beacuse I am not a rusher. I prefer longer range battles with ar's and snipers, always have in all cods and in BF as well.

Okay gonna use the Spas now (no damage) and reveal good and bad kills. Will edit later with results.
Problems begin at 00:18. A close range shot (<10 meters) that doesn't kill, even if centered (playing with 100 ping, so in my screen it was). Then it's a very close shot that requires a second shot, which can be fatal most of times (and it was. If I killed him, I could take out the second guy easily). And then, in the end of the game, a close range perfect shot (again, small ping variance).

Guys, why do you waste any time responding to TSD? I've watched him post ridiculous things in both threads and he won't listen to reason or video evidence (like the model 1887 hitmarker video that was just posted, if you had to shoot 3 times that means that only 1 pellet hit each time). He won't post his own video evidence of how great the pumps are, and his excuse for doing bad with them is that "I'm just bad with close range weapons". Just don't waste your time.
now imo the pump shotguns need a buff, they're inconistent and the close range hitmarkers get you killed most of the time. They have no real advantages over the smgs at this moment if they can't get consistent one shots at close range.
